Helps with back pain and any other pain I have from my autoimmune disease. Unfortunately, I bought this in December, it’s now the end of February, I just turned it in and it no longer works!! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED! November I had bought a heating pad and that one died in December. It only lasted a month. That one was not from this company so I decided to try a different one. I bought this for my mom’s birthday a while back and she loves it. She’ll use it while she works from home and is glad the neck is weighted so it keeps it in place. She gets a lot of tension there and it’s seemed to definitely help!

This is a nice large heating pad that delivers good heat and is easy to use. I was looking for something larger to spam a taller back and this fits the bill, but the heat intensity in the low back portion is not as high as it is in the thoracic and neck/ shoulder area. That's a shame for me as that is where my disc and muscle spasms issues are, but I am able to slide it down a bit as needed. Initially I didn't think the pad got as hot as I would like, but it seems like it's actually been getting to temp better the longer I've had it. So far the quality is great, the cord is plenty long, and despite the low back inconsistency, the coverage is still solid compared to other heating pads. ... show more

As a tall person with a long torso, the size is perfect—it comfortably covers my shoulders all the way down to my lower back. Love this product. I have purchased 5 in 2 different sizes. I’ve had people say they are too heavy but I like the weight on my shoulders and waist as it allows me to bed over without the hot pad sliding off my back when I work at the craft table or my desk. The heat in the shoulder pads is great for arthritis in my neck and easy to flip off my neck when it gets a little warm. I always turn the heat down when I use it but for days with lots of pain this is great. For those who think it is a little heavy try it on a lower setting. Shorter ones for office chairs, longer ones for recliners and tall men. Velcro the remote to your chair for easy mobility. ... show more

The neck part is nice. Over all it’s soft and warms well. My complaint is even the extra large is not long enough for a tall man. My husband is 6’2 and the heating pad does not reach all of the back especially when sitting in a recliner.
