It’s a great kennel I really like the pull out trays. Assembly was easy. My husband fits in it with room to move ( don’t worry I don’t keep him in there ) I bought it for a Pres Canaro bread and it will be big enough for her is why I had my husband try it out lol. It is not a welded cage so it is not rock solid but sturdy enough.

This product was shipped to us in not great condition. The box itself was damaged, however the crate inside was not protected at all and had dings all over it. We decided if these dings from shipping damage were the only issue, we could still work with the crate for our destructive anxious dog. We put the crate all together and the amount of issues we found were very concerning. All places where the crate was welded together looked terrible, crooked, and unreliable. The wire piece that went on top for our dog to lay on was so flimsy and didn’t even properly fit within the crate so it just moved around with a few centimeters of free space on each side. The dings from shipping damage were not huge, but they made a very large impact on the crate and caused a lot of bowing in the main frame of the bottom of the crate. The most disappointing part is I tried to chalk these issues up to the damage from shipping and thought I would give the seller another chance. I asked for a replacement and offered to send this one back. Their response was to not send it back and they would refund me a very small portion of the cost (it’s been a while but I believe it was like $20 of the $250 I paid). I was absolutely shocked by that terrible offer as I hadn’t even used the crate yet and saw so many red flags of poor craftsmanship. I’ve been using these indestructible crates for years and usually buy a new one every year or two for my 8 year old dog, and I quickly switched back to the other brand that seems much more reliable and safe.

The 42 inch I bought years ago was great. This one is a 48 inch for the same dog and he is too heavy for the metal rack as it bends as he gets in. He refuses to go back in this cage again. So he is back in the original one. A lot of rusting all over the new cage along with dents and chipped paint. My biggest concern is the rack not holding him. I was very impressed the first time that is why I bought from them again. I now will have to place a 15 lbs puppy in the larger cage.

So Fort Knox is our 4th crate for our 22 pound Mini Goldendoodle. She has destroyed all her other crates. This one is working wonderfully. She cannot escape from it, bend it, or bite the bars. My only concern is the bottom "floor". The holes to let liquids through are pretty big. I keep a mat in there so her nails don't get stuck when she "digs". She destroys the mats pretty often.
