This is an extra-large, durable, heavy duty metal dog crate that features a two-door configuration with convenient front & side door access, three secure slide-bolt latches per door, four rubber "roller" feet to protect your floors & a tough easy to clean leak-proof plastic pan. This "Ginormous" dog crate utilizes drop-pin construction (4 drop-pins) ensuring maximum durability to safely and securely handle large breed dogs. This giant dog crate is also equipped with our patent-pending "L" Bar that horizontally runs along the middle of the top panel of the dog crate so the side panels do not bow inward after assembly ensuring a safe & sturdy dog crate for your dog. Great crate! Easy to set up and collapse. I travel with it. The tray is easy to clean. It is secure and easy to open. The 36in is perfect for my 35-40lbs puppy. The size chart is accurate. I like the extra divider that can be used to make the crate smaller hence prevent potty accidents. The color is still on after 3 weeks of puppy chewing and distruction! Highly recommend for any crate training dog. I cover 3 sides of the crate with bedsheets for extra warmth and to prevent distractions. Excellent Construction, But the 48-Inch Was Too Large for My Space. I purchased this MidWest iCrate based on the brand's reputation for quality, and I was not disappointed with the build. Quality: The crate is still good quality. The metal wire is thick, the secure latches are reliable, and the folding design, along with the leak-proof tray, confirms its durability and ease of use. The Issue: Unfortunately, the 48-inch size for XL breeds was too big for the specific area I needed it for in my home. It was an error on my part in measuring my space! Outcome: I returned it solely due to the size issue and plan to re-order the next size down from the same brand. If you have a large-to-extra-large dog and the space to accommodate a 48-inch crate, this is a sturdy and well-designed choice. I definitely suggest this brand for quality construction! ... show more

    • Very sturdy and easy to put together

I purchased the 42" crate. I'm a 5'2" female and I was able to get it in my door and move it around the house, mainly by sliding it. It is a bulky size for me, a little heavy, but not bad. I was able to cut the tape around the box and unload it. It is very compact and the whole thing moves together. After reading the instructions a couple of times, I figured out how to put it together. It was really simple in the end. It is very sturdy, was not shaky at all. Unfortunately, my rescue dog, who was previously crate trained, did not want to go in it, or at least stay in it. She is a 50 lb. Chow Chow and she fit in it easily! She could turn around with plenty of room to spare. When she did go in it, it was very sturdy and did not shake or make any noise. But, probably because we give her the run of the house, she really didn't want to stay in it, so I let her roam. She really didn't use it, so I am returning it, and the return process is very easy!! Box it back up, and take to a UPS store, no label printing or anything. I would highly recommend this crate if you have a dog that likes to be crated. It is very sturdy, has two doors that are easy to open and close, and a crate divider. It doesn't make any shaking noise when the dog goes in or out. My dog doesn't like to be crated, so its a return for me and I am greatly appreciative of how easy that process was! ... show more
