I replaced my 42 inch kennel with this 48 inch kennel. I have it in my “cat room” on a 6 foot table for cats love height. . I can medicate a cat that needs medication without having to make U-turns through the house, chasing them down to medicate. I’ll keep them in there until the medication days are finished. It is so large this kennel. I have a cat perch in there a litter box, food and water a little carpet runner. This thing is awesome. I purchased the smallest size for my puppy and have now purchased the next size up as he has grown. You can't beat the price and I love the fact that it collapses for easy storage. My dog is pretty small and will only be about 9 lbs when full-grown so these kennels are plenty sturdy enough for him. I'm not sure how they would do for a bigger and stronger dog - the metal isn't as heavy as I've seen on other crates (at least based on the 2 sizes I've purchased). First, it took 2 weeks to get here.. I’m in AZ and it was coming from IL. I watched the tracking (cuz it was taking forever) it went from IL to CA (right next to AZ) to FL thennnnn to me in AZ. When it arrived, I went to set it up and the metal clasp thing that holds it together when you pack it up.. is bent so it doesn’t hold, some of the metal pieces are bent so the door has to be lifted in order to close and the plastic tray is warped so it moves and like pops up and down when my 7lb shih tzu puppy walks on it and scares him. We bent the wires back as much as possible but for the cost and the wait I’m a lil frustrated ... show more

Holy god I should have measured. All 3 of my dogs fit in this thing, hell I fit in this thing with them. Can put it pretty much anywhere it fits thanks to the double doors. Works as it should and it doesn’t leave scratches great for my 2 dogs. If you have a dog that eats/chews everything or that has anxiety when you leave like I do then this one isn’t for you. My bigger puppy has chewed the wires where they are touching, and has 3 of them off. Again if your dog has anxiety and freaks out this kind of kennel is not for you. ... show more

Pros: The size is perfect though and as described. It folds easily and isn’t too heavy. Easy to clean Got it when our bulldog was 2 months and she is 6 months now. Avid chewer but she has yet to make a dent in the bars so extremely sturdy! This size fits in the backseat of a Toyota Corolla and is easy to strap in using pet seatbelts. 2 doors is nice Cons: We have a very clean house and have had this crate inside 24/7. The bars have minor rust showing at the bottom and we’ve had it 4 months. We only clean it using pet wipes as well Does not appear like it would hold up well in a crash (but Amazon doesn’t advertise I don’t think) The latch for the doors sticks extremely easily. I have to hold the latch a certain way to open the doors Overall: cheap, good cage for a puppy if you are thinking of upgrading in the future. I wouldn’t recommend this cage as the primary cage for the entirety of your dog’s puppy to adult life. Good for low traveling but not long trips due to the crash protection; we take longer trips so we will definitely be upgrading soon! ... show more
