This crate is nicer than the standard wire crate. Things that I like: 1)wires are very sturdy. Some reviewers rated them as weak, but they're much stronger than the one I had before and perfect for my Chug. 2. It sits up off the floor. There's a space under the floor under the crate where you can put the tray or just have it raised up and I like having it off the floor. 3. I like that there are two doors. 4. I like that the back is solid to go up against the wall, or in my case the sofa. 5. Adjustable legs make it easy to level between the carpet and the hardwood Make sure you consider the interior deminsion. Crate came fast and was easy to set up. It is very pretty and a good size however may need a bigger one once GSP is bigger and thought this was a one and done crate from sizing chart. Pull out bottom for potty pads or spills is nice to have. Double gates are great. Main negative is metal is very loud and flimsy and latches could use some work. Larger dogs would probably break latches or bite through metal pretty quickly. Love that the back is one piece so you don't have to worry your dog can reach anything while flat against the wall. Top is also one piece so great for using as a "table" or pet storage such as treats, potty pads, poop bags, toys, ect. I did add felt pads to the "feet" so when moving on the hardwoods no scratches would happen but even without the felt crate is easy to slide. (Have not used on carpet though) Overall happy with the crate for a puppy. ... show more

was just putting it together and got to the first 2 steps. when putting up cage E the screws came out and tore from the wood. For almost $150 this is unacceptable. whats crazier is this isnt covered under my warranty nor can i get my money back b/c im a trucker and was gone to log to meet the refund window. i also previously bought this item in a smaller size and had it for about one year now and it did perfectly fine while building it, however my dog started getting bigger and heavier and broke the bottom crate so i needed a bigger size that can handle her weight. to any one who is thinking about buying this be careful on how much force you put on these until it is fully built. just minimal force wear tear it from the foundation ... show more

Love this! Easy to put together- just make sure to pay attention to the locks, the placement. Quality matches the price. The wires are not heavy duty but will be fine for what I am using it for. I wouldn’t put a large/strong dog in there locked and expect it to remain unharmed.
