The battery life on this is surprisingly great. I love that it comes with two batteries too. For smaller stuff, say up to about two inches in diameter max, this works great. It’s lightweight and generally doesn’t have any issues cutting through things. The thicker you go the more pressure it exerts on the chain and it will tend to stop and is hard to get out of the wood. The harder you work it the more you have to keep tightening the tensioner. Using this for just trimming brush and small branches regularly this thing really shines. I love it for that. So easy to use. Comes with a decent case that snaps shut and everything fits inside. The way the charger plugs into the batteries is a little weird but it works.

I took a chance on this mini chainsaw thinking it probably wouldn’t be powerful enough to do much, however I loved the rechargeable feature and how portable it looked, so I gave it a chance. I’m really glad I did. It comes with not just one, but two batteries, gloves, safety glasses, a case, and the charger. I love the extra battery because it lets me do all my trees and bushes before it runs out of power. It weighs less than 5lbs and even my wife was comfortable using it (she won’t go near our full size chainsaw). We pruned all of the small branches (1” or less in diameter) on about 20 tress as well as several bushes. There was no cord (and multiple extension cords) to worry about which is usually an issue because we have 5 acres of land and several of the trees are no where near the house or any electrical outlet. For the price this is an absolute steal - I’m considering getting a back-up in case anything happens to the first one. The battery life may be a little weak, but I also ran it pretty hard. And the fact it comes with the second battery means it hasn't been an issue as of yet.

FANTASTIC chainsaw. Very versatile and works great! I only used this for short periods of time so I can't attest to battery life. I cut branches on small trees (ornamentals) and bushes. Definite 5 stars! I just want to warn you - it is SHARP so keep your hands away from anywhere it's cutting. The way it works you're gonna want to hold onto the branch you're cutting - don't do it. Just cut it and let it drop. This thing is worth every penny! The price is more than right. This is only a fraction of the price of the ones they sell in stores. I recommend HIGHLY

This mini chainsaw is surprisingly strong for its size. My first impression when I held it in hand was that it lacked durability and would not last with the plastic housing that felt flimsy and cheaply made. I had ordered this to trim down my overgrown citrus tree, but was leery about whether it could handle the heavier branches without breaking apart in my hands. After reading the reviews, however, I decided to go for it, albeit with plenty of caution. To my surprise, it cut through the thorniest branches without issue and more or less did what I needed for it to do. It also came with 2 battery packs, which meant I could get them both charged up and switched out for larger jobs. So despite it's feeble looks, this chainsaw worked well for my needs.

My wife wanted a small chainsaw, so I got her this. However, I've been using it! It's really nice for branches that are too small for my full size 18" chainsaw. This thing is pretty quick, sharp, and buzzes through wood quickly. It's lightweight, and the kit includes all kinds of stuff, even a second battery. They last long enough to get some work done. This was a good deal. It allows me to have my son sawing at the same time as me and we can be more productive in eliminating brush piles and branches. My original review is below, I'm leaving it as reference. I had owned this for a few weeks, and used it a handful of times, as outlined below. Took it outside to cut up some palm fronds to fit into trash bin. Had been using it for only a minute or so (so not overheated or stressed). Battery with fresh charge. Again - light duty work. It wasn't jammed, binding, etc. Stopped working with a pretty good puff of smoke inside the unit and didn't recover. ------------------------ I have to admit - I got this as a bit of a joke. There's a well known youtuber who likes to mock the "unboxing" trend by opening new products with a tiny, cordless chainsaw. I got this, with that in mind. However, it is actually pretty useful. It does a good job cutting small branches around the yard - stuff that's a bit too big for a lopper. Also useful to cut kindling apart, and I've also used it to cut up construction scraps/debris to better fit in a trash bit - I found it especially useful for that. It's not super heavy construction - I don't think it would hold up long if you were a landscaper or contractor and using it multiple times a week. But, for household use, I think it's appropriate, especially given the low cost. The chain did need retensioning twice in the first few uses. But, once it "settled in", it's stayed correct for a while now. The battery and charger, especially, feel very lightweight - which you may or may not consider a virtue. That said, the battery supplies a lot more runtime than you'd expect. It's hard to quantify in minutes, since this is really more used in short-ish bursts. But, I'd say, realistically, you can expect a solid 20-25 minutes of runtime, while actively sawing things, before you'll need to recharge.
