I did not read the product reviews before making my purchase. While waiting for the chair to arrive, I decided to read what others had to say. I began to think I had made a huge mistake. When the chair arrived I began looking at all the assembly steps and various pieces involved. Wow, can I do this. I got worried about it. I called a friend to help me as two adults were recommended for easier assembly. When we actually got started all the negative reviews ceased to be a concern. Assembly was quite simple in fact. If you read the instructions before you start, pay attention to details, and have patients it goes smoothly. After assembly I found this chair to be very sturdy and comfortable. Some reviews complained about the chair back being stiff and hard. In truth the chair forces you sit with good posture and supports your back very well which is ultimately less fatiguing when sitting for long periods of time. I'm a big guy of 6'1" and 230 pounds. I love the heat and massage functions, and find them very soothing. In my opinion it is a very nice chair for the money. I'm guessing it will be good for several years. ... show more

My wife wanted this for her birthday so I got it. It was easy putting it together, it was easy once you figured out the instructions. It's comfortable but.....there is always a but...lol The sit area is narrow so if you have a hip area that needs the room....beware; it isn't very wide. For the price I think it's worth the money, I would have liked a bit more lumbar support. The one we got is a beautiful color and the fabric has a great feel to it. Electronically; it does what the manufacturer says it would do. I'm happy with it. Need to see how it wears out in time ... show more

So what do I think about this chair for the money it's awesome!! I think I got it for $237 on one of the sale days. I was a bit skeptical because you look at Jordan's, Bernie and phyl's and all those places Cheers cost $700 $1,000 maybe $400. So you must be like this chair has heat, massage, reclining, swivel something's got to give right. Well so far nothing really gives that much. The quality is obviously not of $1,000 chair. But I didn't want a big bulky heavy chair anyways for my wife. When I got it it was fairly easy to put together The quality of the material is actually really good and it looks like everything comes off if you want to wash it but kind of difficult to get it off. Not like a LOVESAC type furniture which I bought in love!! The massage thing is mostly just a vibrating thing it's pretty cool, it gives you enough heat a lot of features. The reclining works well.. But when you push all the way back it really doesn't want to stay put maybe it has to break in. The size is perfect to even for me who's 6'1 / 210 lb It holds my legs pretty well but they will hang off the front a little bit but it's supposed to just cushion your calves not your feet too. I really have nothing bad to say about this. I will do another review to talk about longevity. But hey if you get 5 years out of this for $237 and then it's pretty easy to take apart and throw away. If you are someone who utilizes reviews to decide purchases, you might as well stop doing so. I used to think Amazon was a fairly safe place to buy stuff. Not anymore. The marketplace is being inundated with third parties pushing false advertisements and claims. Third party sellers have become predators. Yet Amazon does nothing about it. This chair has a lot of five star reviews! Nice right!?!?!? Nope, a good portion of those reviews are for a desk; not this chair. If you can find the time to sift through the “mislabeled” reviews about some random desk, you’ll find a lot of actual reviews for this chair are not great. My experience: this item comes in one big heavy box. Not a problem, besides if I don’t like the chair I can always send it back…. Right? Not really, they package this thing so that unless you have a factory vacuum sealer and bags for large crap, you’ll never get everything small enough to fit back in the box. I personally didn’t find the assembly too bad, but if you have a bad back or something you’ll probably need help. Theres a couple heavy bulky items you have to line up to install while the chair tries to swivel. This chair is hard, it feels like it’s stuffed with hay. It doesn’t fully recline. If you like to lean back and watch tv (without fully reclining), stop it. How dare you. The massage/heat function is nothing more than a novelty. Don’t buy this if you are looking for a decent massage. If you are over 6ft, this is a chair for ants. I hang off of the top and bottom of this thing by several inches when fully reclined. I’m kicking myself for allowing Amazon to get one over on me again. I hope this helps someone out. ... show more

Worst part of assembly are the side pieces. The covers have to be stretched slowly to fit. Otherwise assembly was quick and easy. Hubby loves it. Heat and massage work. Cord has Nice length.

The color and material are nice. The chair is not soft and plush. It is rather hard, but it is okay. My favorite part is the heat on my back. The massage/vibrations are nice also. The chair is not very durable, I have had it a month and its already leaning and the foot part doesnt come all the way up. I am under five feet and under 200 pounds. It gets the job done though.
