I purchased an hp22 from Amazon a year and a half ago. Don’t waste your money on this pile of junk!! It’s been nothing but problems. Bearing failure, feed failure, Burn pots cracking, Igniters burning out, now the display is toast and it just cost me $200 dollars to get a new one. Warranty is crap they only cover a year. Buy a different stove from a different company! Chinese crap!!!!! ... show more

Everything about this stove we love, been burning wood for 48 years. While you're young and good shape we enjoyed a wood stove. But splitting wood and carrying logs all winter gets to be a lot of work. The pellet stove kept our house at a constant 70 degrees night and day. Ground floor house in the Country where the temperature dropped below 11 degrees. Only added 1 bag a day only thing you have to do is use the brushes once in awhile. Every other day shut off the stove for cleaning the burn pot. Only takes a second or two clean the pot, the stove takes half hour to shut down for safety. Don't try and stop and start the stove to fast the safety that is built into the stove will shut you down. I use a big scooper to put the pellets into buckets then pour into stove. Remember everytime you open the door to add pellets the fire starts to go down. The directions aren't great Youtube was terrific. We love this stove wish I did this years ago. Plus your house is clean you won't believe how much dust we cut down on. ... show more

Great stove!! Really does the trick! Delivery was good, but kind of 'around the horn' getting it here. But arrived on time and very well protected. It's beautiful and works great! The unit itself is very heavy due to it's construction, but most husband/wife teams can manage to get this in place to install. As far as DIY installations go, this was very easy. We just used it for our 4th winter, and it's been very reliable. Warms our very large open concept living room, kitchen and upstairs bedrooms quite nicely I had some questions about the control panel when installing, and via both email and phone the manufacturer was extremely helpful. If you see any negative reviews about these guys, you can bet it's from sheer ignorance of how pellet stoves work or what they do. We use ours primarily as back up heating for when our heat pump can't cut it, and it's awesome. ... show more
