It is strange how difficult it can be to find this specific type of heater. This is a forced air fan heater, which is different from a ceramic heater. I find forced air heaters to provide a more consistent heat feel than a ceramic heater does. For some people, this is a big deal, for others it is not. I personally can't stand ceramic heaters. This little heater does great job though. It provides a consistent and comfortable temperature that you can feel. It is strong enough to make a large bedroom feel slightly more comfortable, but I would say this is much more for personal use than heating a room. I really like it for heating my feet at my desk or while watching TV. Its small and durable, which is nice. I find it very easy to bring it wherever I am in the house. It also held up well to two kids being not so gentle with it. My two year old in particular loved shoving it over or trying to throw it (off of course). It took a few good bangs and dings and kept chugging. It did eventually give up, but I would say that was more from being mistreated than manufacturing. This is a very nice, small, and portable indoor heater — perfect for placing under your desk or warming up a smaller room. It features a tip-over safety switch, so if it accidentally gets knocked over, the power shuts off automatically. There are both low and high heat settings, along with a dial to adjust the temperature to your liking. Despite its compact size, it puts out impressive heat! This is an excellent heater! We had initially purchased two different personal heaters to utilize in our bedroom, and needless to say, we returned the other one. For this one was not only more attractive and compact, but very quiet. It also produced a better quality of heat and in less time (even though the wattage on both of the space heaters were indicated as equivalent). Purchased in August when I got a new home office. Saved until the weather got cold (South Carolina, so not cold enough until more recently). Used it one time. No probs. Attempted to use again— Did not turn on. Did not work. No sound or heat at all. Like when your key ignition starter goes bad in your car (pre-button ignition). Decent Heat, But Limited Reach This little Comfort Zone space heater does its job in a small bedroom or office, but it’s not one I’d count on for larger spaces. The fan pushes out steady warm air and the adjustable thermostat makes it easy to set to a comfortable level without fiddling too much. The safety features (tip-over switch and overheat protection) give me peace of mind, especially when leaving it on while I’m nearby. That said, the fan is on the louder side for such a compact unit—it’s fine for background noise during the day, but noticeable at night if you’re trying to sleep. It also takes a while to make a difference in room temperature unless the space is truly small. The plastic build feels light and somewhat fragile, so I’d be careful about frequent moves or rough handling.
