After several wasted days trying unsuccessfully to get 3 other cheap Chinese brand printers to work with Windows, I got this one. Yeah, it's Chinese too, but what isn't these days? Unlike the others, this company actually has a real proper website with support information and driver downloads. The drivers for this printer have a ton of options and everything is in real proper English (instead of Engrish). The drivers were a quick and easy install. This model also includes a free roll holder which they mention with some of their other models but didn't mention with this one. It comes with a long power cord and a long quality USB cable. It uses a real power cord and not a "brick" style AC adapter. I have already successfully tested it with 5 different sizes of labels using Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Write and Paint.net. Any Windows program should work with this just like any other printer. It's monochrome so photos look horrible on it unless you carefully optimize them (but that's to be expected) but it prints most logos beautifully. Text is dark and sharp with any font at any size. Even more amazing, it supports Linux! Again, quick easy install of drivers and I successfully printed a couple of labels. I got this printer so I could quickly and easily make a label or two on demand without having to feed a whole sheet thru the laser printer and for this it really excels! It is quiet and incredibly fast! If I was 3 inches tall I could surf the wave of paper coming out. I don't print shipping labels but for those of you who do I have no doubt you will be quite pleased with this printer. ... show more

I would highly recommend this printer. You get what you pay for! The best part about this one is that it actually comes with a driver AND a link to a website to download one. Plus the driver actually works, was easy to install and haven't once had an issue. (Which can't be said about most printers, looking at you HP...printers and scanners are the bane of my existence.) I previously purchased two slightly cheaper models from Amazon and had to send those back. One didnt come with a driver in the box and just had a website link to download. Turns out that website didnt even exist. The other one I had to spend hours trying to get the drivers to play nice with Win 11, ultimately it needed to go back. ... show more

This little thermal printer is amazing!! My husband surprised me with it for my birthday~ I started a small online business selling clothes on Poshmark. The first step is to download the software and create an account; you’ll be making labels in minutes. I started with making traditional text only labels and were make two labels from one since we only had the starter roll. I was tired of having to print on paper then cut to tape to shipping box. This printer saves a lot of time and is very quick to print 4x6 labels. When printing make sure your dimensions are set in the printer device properties. I've been using my printer for a few months now with no issues. My delivery carrier scans ivory label effortlessly now~ Whereas before the barcode would sometimes print uneven causing packages not to scan and therefore causing me many headaches. UPDATED FINAL UPDATE - The support team for the manufacturer reached out to me and was concerned that I had had such a bad experience. They refunded the original purchase price and sent me a new printer, which has solved all the problems I was having. I really should have reached out to them for warranty help, but to be honest I don't expect this level of service from many companies. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. ** OLD REVIEW THAT HAS BEEN RESOLVED** - UPDATE: became unresponsive today, a little less than 4 months of use. Printed about 150 labels on it in that time. My prediction below of it not making 6 months was true. Do not buy this printer. - This thing worked decently for printing mailing labels until it started acting funny, right as the return window closed. First, the computer can't reboot or wake from sleep if the printer is powered on and plugged into the USB, which is every time unless you're the type to unplug your printers when you leave your computer idle. It just hangs on a black screen until you turn the printer off and do a hard restart of the computer. The solution, for a minute, was to turn the printer off unless it was being used. Now, the printer won't print half the time when you turn it back on unless you unplug it and then replug it. Oh hey look at that, return window closed 10 days ago. This thing barely made it to 30 days before it became a serious inconvenience, and now I have no faith it'll last 6 months. Now I've got to deal with their warranty people? I'm going to call Amazon and complain and try to get them to return it anyway. Don't buy unless you want to have to turn around and buy another soon after. ... show more
