This product REALLY works. I was skeptical but wanted something to boost my straight, limp hair without making it feel dirty. I usually wash my hair every other day. I can actually go one more day without washing my hair and it still looks great. My hair is just below my chin. Rather than using 2-3 pumps, I've only used 1 pump which is the perfect amount. (I think you'd have to have a LOT of hair to use 2-3 pumps.) It really adds volume to my lifeless hair + I don't have to use as much hairspray. This doesn't work. I've read a lot of good reviews about how it lasts for days and my stylist recommended it. However, it didn't work for me. I have fine, short, layered hair and after shampooing my hair I used this and my hair looked OK. However, the next day my hair was flat and all messed up and it made my hair look like straw. I had to reapply this onto my dry hair again and style using my blow dryer to get it try to fix it but that didn't work either.. I did better using the RUSK spray on volumizer mist which is much cheaper. I returned it for a refund. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised I liked this product. I have really thin, fine hair and anything I put on my roots look greasy. After using this it gives my hair volume and does not leave me greasy, it looks clean! It’s not a super difference of volume but for my thin flat hair it gives it a little something. This is the best hair product I’ve used in a long time. I have short hair and it’s very straight so when I try to style it, I need something to give it a lift and help give it some curl. Doesn’t make your hair feel sticky and heavy. Use several other of the wild products and they are great.

Color Wow does give your hair volume and, with my thin, fine hair, that's saying something. What I particularly like is that it doesn't seem to leave a sticky residue on my hair and my hair is manageable, even the day after. What I'm not thrilled with is the overall staying power. It doesn't loose all the volume, but it doesn't deflate over the the next several hours. My hair is by no means flat; it's just not as fluffy as when I first styled it. I have to be honest, I like in the South where soul killing heat and humidity are with us from May to November. Toss that into the mix and Color Wow does a pretty good job, all things considered. Last gripe is that you can't treat this like a regular mousse. When it says to apply ample amounts, it means lots and lots of mousse. Therefore, a can doesn't last as long as you'd expect because not using a lot of it doesn't produce much volume at all. Bottom line is that Color Wow works. It provides lift for fine hair like mine and isn't greasy or sticky feeling. You just have to use a large amount of it to achieve that and accept that it isn't a match for humidity. ... show more
