This is a great stove. Got mine on sale and it is/was a great buy. Sets up easy, lights easy, very adjustable flame and at full burn boils a pint of water in a few minutes. After use, it is easy to clean and quick to cool. It's lightweight and folds easily and with its handle detent in the metal case, easy to carry. My only extremely minor gripe is that my stove is that small backpacking pots can sometimes rock a little on the grill/rack because the grill bar spacing is a little wide for the smaller pots. 7+ in diameter are fine. I like that it DOES NOT have a sparker. Another thing that won't break or is necessary. Strongly recommend, especially if you can find it for less that $100.

Expectations & Initial Impressions When searching for a portable camping cooktop, I prioritized a slim profile and easy packability, and purchased the Coleman Triton 2-Burner Propane Stove in December 2024. The compact design immediately stood out, making it perfect for camping trips where space is at a premium. Performance Evaluation After several uses, the stove has proven to be reliable, heating quickly and handling everything from boiling water to grilling. Both burners offer enough power for most camping meals and I’ve had no issue cooking for small groups. Pros - Slim, portable profile fits easily in camping gear - Heats up quickly and provides decent overall power - Wind guards improve outdoor cooking stability - Handles two pans at once without crowding Cons - Adjusting the burner intensity is tricky; it’s challenging to fine-tune between simmer and high - Burners can be a little “all or nothing”—would be better with more gradual control Comparison to Product Descriptions The stove delivers on its promises of portability and solid heat output. The wind guards and dual burners genuinely add value for camping and tailgating. However, the “adjustable burners” advertised could use better sensitivity for lower-heat cooking. Actionable Takeaways This cooktop is a great option for campers who want convenience and portability above all. I bought this to replace an old stove that had a lot of problems and just wasn't getting fixed. This stove worked great. It is large enough to use a pot and pan or pan and skillet on and both burners heat up quickly. We had quite a bit if breeze and the windscreens really help keep the burners lit. it really is designed well and the molded in handle works great, making sure there is one less item to break off. I am please with the stove and would recommend it to others. We go tent camping at camp grounds, but not backpacking. I would not recommend this for backpacking due to its size.

This is a fantastic stove! I was really wanting precise burner control for simmering when needed. This delivers. Fairly lightweight (not backpacking friendly though) and puts together with ease. Doesn’t seem too flimsy. Works well with the “green cylinders” or with a hose attachment for running off of a bigger tank. Two things I would recommend. First, some rubber non slip shelf and drawer liners. Can be bought here or at any Walmart. The bottom of the stove does not have rubber pads and it will slide on a lot of surfaces. The liner took care of that. Second, you can buy the Coleman stove bag or….go to bass pro and get theirs for $20. It’s significantly cheaper than the Coleman bag. It’s a good bag, it fits this stove with room to spare, the bag zipper is good, and it has two green cylinder pouches. I can put the stove, non slip liner, a grill lighter (extended tip), and still have room in the bag. I was torn between this and the camp chef Everest 2 stove. I am glad I went with this model. A lot cheaper than the Everest 2 and I cannot see any possible gains by spending the extra money. Excellent product!

The media could not be loaded. Great camping stove, allowed us to eat on the go while on vacation. Great value for the money! Gave it 4 stars because ours came damaged. The metal was bent in the corner which makes it hard to open, but it still works. Did not have time to exchange it before our trip. PROS: 1. Great size, easy to pack 2. Two burners allows you to cook multiple items 3. Wind Shield helps keep burners going in windy weather 4. Adjustable temperature control, allows you to simmer/boil 5. Seems to be pretty fuel efficient 6. Allows you to cook anywhere! 7. Easy to clean and wipe off 8. Bottom doesn't too hot, we used it on hard plastic folding table with no issue Cons: 1. Kind of heavy, but not too bad 2. Ours had some metal bent in the corner making it harder to open lid 3. Makes rattling noise as you drive (just put a towel or something in it)

I live in a hurricane prone region, bought in case of extended power outage. Works great for heating stuff and it hooks up to a regular propane tank, not those little tanks.

I love this stove. It is pretty fast, light, and efficiently uses propane unlike my old CampChef stove. I only miss the legs on that , but this works perfect on our tailgate. I used a common propane extension hose to run it off my truck mounted 10# tank. After several overland trips with some restaurant eating , but a few propane campfires , we still have some gas left.

I trust Coleman so I bought this stove based on my history of buying Coleman products. I am pretty pleased with the stove. Has your standard two burners. Easy to set up and attach the propane tank. It's pretty durable material and the knobs to adjust the flame are good. The design is good as the barrier surrounding the sides are good at protecting the flames from the wind.
