i haven't driven with them yet - just to make that known. mounting it to a 2002 TJ was pretty simple and aesthetically pleasing, i find it resembles the factory shape when its in its pointing up versus out, just more high tech due to the lights - need to get excited when the TJ shows some technology!! The only thing i am not overwhelmed with currently is the electrical routing. There are no instructions or ideas for ways to route the cable. The connection is outside the body which if left uncovered is corrosion waiting to happen. Also, the routing of the cable need to be secure as a branch or a car wash brush seems more than capable of hooking the cable and ripping the connectors apart. For an idea, my solution was to take a long piece of black shrink wrap and slide it up to the connector with the long side that goes in the cabin - this way the yellow directional wire didn't sit out there looking stupid. i globed the connector with dielectric grease and wrapped it with stretch wrap, then electrical taped it starting at the mirror side and down the other connection 2 inches - important... from here i used the 1/4 inch (+-) gap in the windshield hinge at the bottom of the mirror mount and put the cable through that space with the end of the electrical tape being behind the mount so it doesn't unravel over time and weather... - the other end was wrapped over itself before moving down so that shouldn't unravel. tightened down the mount and walla, it looked good. it did need to go through the door jamb, but seems to not put much pressure, only from the door weather striping. then it was a case of fishing it around, etc.... The wire in the door jamb also seems to stay in place so it shouldn't walk into the door hinge or hang out waiting to be hooked. ... show more

Where do I start??? 1. There are too many adjustment points. The mirrors are very difficult to finely adjust being manual mirrors which is what I have stock on my 2017 Wangler JK. You definitely need a second person to adjust and tighten the passenger side or you will be running back and forth a lot to get the mirrors just right. 2. The hex head adjustment screws are extremely difficult if not impossible to adjust so the mirrors don’t get blown out of adjustment, especially at highway speeds. I have yet to get the screws tight enough to stay in place. 3. The mirrors seem warped or distorted unlike the stock mirrors. I assume because they are super cheap, imported garbage. 4. The mirrors vibrate constantly even at low speed, which is very annoying when trying to see while driving. These mirrors may be fine for a stock jeep with street tires but with a 3” lift and 35” tires they are useless. I wanted A-pillar mounted mirrors that I could permanently mount instead of worrying about moving the stock mirrors off of the doors when taking the jeep doors off. These are not them! ... show more

I love the mirrors! They look great. However, they're listed as doors on or doors off. They will absolutely work with the doors on. The instructions say if you mount them in one position they still work with the doors off. This is true but when you put the doors back on you can no longer see the passenger side mirror with the windows on. I tried to flip them over, turn them every which way. No matter what I did, I couldn't have them in a position where I could see them and be able to take the doors on and off. After that I remounted them in the top position that it says you cannot take the doors on and off with and modified them so that the doors now come on and off in that position. I modified them by cutting a little bit off the bottom. Maybe a quarter to half an inch and now the doors do come on and off by clearing the bottom of that bracket now removed. And the mirrors can be in the upper position which make them usable when the doors and windows are on. It's a shame they couldn't come this way or be set up to mount on the one hole that's further up. Update.... I changed out the bolts with the hex nuts that were there to regular nuts and bolts and I removed the bearings that were in with the bolts. I was having a problem with the mirrors constantly coming loose and moving when I aimed them that did solve the problem. Pretty cheap. Easy fix ... show more

Good replacement if you intend to take your doors off in the summer or live in an area with a higher deer population than people in nyc. I personally wired the turn signal switch leg to the drls so the orange lights are always on when the low beams are on. Both mirrors went of easy (even when i striped the factory bolt ((thanks Crystler for the locktight))) and they look amazing. ... show more
