I have used this for the past 4-5 months and I'm giving it 5 stars because this drying rack is an excellent compromise. I keep it indoors and carry it outside to dry clothes. The rack feels somewhat flimsy but I can carry it up and down the cellar stairs in one hand, which is helpful, and I think that it will last for a long time. It's a bit awkward to set up and take down, but I'm used to it now and it is no big deal. The metal hinges need to be pushed with the flat of your hand to be "locked" and then pushed to be "unlocked." The metal is thin against your hand, but I learned to fully push out the legs of the rack, and to open the rails as wide as possible, before locking the hinges, and that made it much easier. Once set up, the rack is steady. It can accommodate sheets and blankets and/or a lot of clothes. I haven't yet used the things to stop hangers from sliding up and down the rail in the wind, but they are provided and I think they would be useful. Altogether, this rack is easy to use and very useful.

I needed a sturdy drying rack for my horse blankets. This rack is big - it holds four big horse blankets. It is sturdy, easy to unfold and assemble, easy to fold up and store. No more clothes lines hanging in the tack room!

So very functional and well made. It’s super light, so moving it around, whether folded or opened, is not a problem. I found that most of the time, I don’t need 2 rails nor do I need the rods extended. However, both features are so appreciated when doing bedding. It’s been a joy to hang my clothes and being able to fold it neatly to rest in a corner.

The quality of materials is good and the product is sturdy to hold many clothes to dry. I have needed a system that was better than hanging clothes on random hooks or crevices. It is just a bit awkward to manage when setting up. Note the word awkward- not difficult.

Lightweight, easy for me to set up alone, and move if needed. I will be using it this afternoon and pretty sure it will work well. Had trouble with the locking hinges at first but was because I had not folded the legs out completely. I believe it is sturdy enough for king size blanket, but I wouldn't let kids use it as a jungle gym. Already recommended to 2 friends who like to hang out laundry.

expandable, and pretty solid when set up. folding it can produce some wobbling because of the expanding shafts being able to twist (they are round). It folds up neatly for compact storage or travel. the rods are pretty big and if you need clips to secure towels and such, beach towel clips (or my personal favorite are jumbo wooden clothespins "Hemoton 5 Pcs Jumbo Clothespins Wooden Clothespins Towel Holder Giant Wooden..." at w@lm@rt as they are the last jumbo clothespins I will ever have to buy). heavy bedding, quilts etc, are not problem for this rack. I do recommend windproof buckle hangers of which some are included with this item. being able to set this up when I need it is convenient and it is versatile if you have jumbo clips. this was not an impulse buy, and was the best features, materials and compact storability for the money. it has good rubber feet.

We live near the ocean so stainless steel was a requirement - and heavy enough that it doesnt blow over with beach towels on it. This fits the need for both those. It’s 51 inches tall [130 centimeters] and we love that about it - large beach towels fit without hitting the ground. We didn’t give it 4 or 5 stars for 2 BIG reasons - it really needs to have lower bars for smaller stuff like swim suits. its 56 inches long at its shortest, which is where we keep it because when its fully extended it feels flimsy and sure seems like it would bend at the center if someone threw a soaked beach on it near the center. No we didnt test that lol. The less it’s extended definitely feels much stronger. For many [most?] who use it for “regular” laundry - versus huge soaked beach towels - it would probably be fine fully extended. But i don’t rate things on how others might use them, only how we use them. The lack of lower bars for smaller stuff, and the flimsy feeling when fully extended, for us it’s just 3 stars. val
