I got this for my own home bar, but my first thought upon opening it was what a wonderful gift it would make. It comes in a nice wooden box, and all the accessories are in fitted cutouts in the foam liner. The torch did arrive completely empty of butane. I obtained a small butane can and the torch was very easy to fill. I put a finger of bourbon in a fancy rocks glass, and smoked it with the oak flavor. It looked really cool doing it, and it did give the bourbon a distinct smoky taste, more than I was expecting in fact. This set comes with six small whiskey cooling stones, tongs for the stones, cleaning brush, and a small spoon. I am happy I got this for my home bar. As an added bonus one can use the included torch as a kitchen torch – like to caramelize the sugar on a Creme Brulee.

I got this for my brother in law as a gift. Just so happens he was looking for one and said this one was just what he wanted. It comes in a nice wooden box and everything he needed to take his cocktails to the next level. The torch performed remarkably well and the assortment of chips was ideal for a variety of drinks. The price wasn’t bad either. This would be a great gift for that cocktail connoisseur or someone who wants to experiment with next level cocktail making.

This is a pretty nice set and makes an awesome gift. The gold accents gives it a luxurious look. I personally prefer the type of smoker that has a pump so you can use it for smoking food also by being able to direct the smoke where you want it. The cap style smoke lids dont work as well because smoke tends to rise until it cools off. The stone ice cubes are good for keeping you drink from getting watered down but do not last as long as actual ice cubes. Overall this is a great gift for the cocktail lover in your life.

Really has everything you need except for the glass and the liquid that goes into the glass! The only thing I have to say that made me give it 4 stars is that the drainage of smoke is not as intense as others I've used. I was torching the wood for much longer causing it to start over burning.

This set is a class act and would make an awesome gift but not this one……it’s mine! The very nice wooden storage box elevates this set above other brands and has two metal hinges on the back of the lid and a nice spring loaded clasp on the front. It is lined with foam cutouts that perfectly fit and protect the contents. The gold and black torch looks elegant. Also included are six cans of flavored chips, tools (spoon, tongs, cleaning brush) and 6 stone cubes. I, like another reviewer, overlooked the two slate coasters that were located under the wooden smoke lid. Not included is butane, ice, a glass and your favorite libation! Highly recommend!

Had a smoked cocktail on a cruise ship and have been obsessed ever since. Now I get to choose from six flavors? Psh no brainer. Only negative is you have to buy your own butane but that’s no big deal.

Cocktail smokers always make great gifts but this set is elevated because of the wooden case that it comes in. To be clear the box is not collectible quality but it is cool! We sampled several of the flavored chips and they smoke quite nicely. The torch is over the top elegant in feel and function. The wooden smoking lid has a great finish. Comes with spoon, tweezer and cleaners. Oh yeah I almost missed the slate coasters down inside the foam below the wood smoke lid. Comes with directions. This is a definite yes and two thumbs up!
