It's been a month now and I bought this commercial ice maker 1000 Lbs/24H because I opened my bar without any problems for now and this machine makes a lot of ice and is now perfectly adequate for the bar's daily use. We had been buying ice packs before, but it was such a pain every day. I stumbled upon this unit and decided it was worth the investment and purchased it. My main concern was to create a schedule so that I wouldn't be making ice all the time. However, the instructions provided were easy to follow and I set a 12 hour cycle. The scoop it comes with is both nice and sturdy. I did have a hard time breaking the ice apart at first, as it was initially too thick. However, there is a special section to adjust the thickness of the ice, which is better because it sets the thickness of the ice and serves a good purpose when using it. I'm thinking that when my bar gets better, I'll consider a better and larger capacity ice machine. ... show more
