I'm happy to see that so many people have normal cats who can use this bowl with ease! Mine are not so easy. I've attached a photo to help illustrate their "problem". Both of my cats claimed their front legs had no joints anymore (they do, in fact, still bend but try explaining that to them) and they could not crouch to eat with proper posture out of the bowl. So their posture eating out of this was even worse than out of a lower bowl which they were forced to bend their legs to get to. However I discovered that by adding a quart paint can underneath (which fit PERFECTLY and the bowl is still very stable) it raised it to the perfect height for them to stand how they wanted - with unbending legs - and they LOVE it. I have a lot of trouble getting one of them to eat enough and this has definitely helped. I give them all the wet food they can eat through the day but I've seen him eating a lot more dry to supplement and it's exactly what we needed apparently. Anyway, this is a great quality bowl, thick ceramic that's very easy to clean and we've been using it for over 6 months now without issue. They still love it. If your cat can use it as is, even better! But if you notice even worse eating posture like my difficult guys, then perhaps it's worth trying to raise it even higher. This bowl has definitely improved their eating habits and I would recommend it!

This is a nice, sturdy ceramic cat bowl. I was worried since it was breakable it might come in broken, but it was packaged securely enough to prevent that from happening. You can choose to use the bowl as either a food or water dish, I chose to do food since I already have a water fountain for them. Both my cats really like the bowl and took to it immediately. My blind cat, in particular, seems to really like it as the slant of the bowl makes it easier to get his food. His neck is also more leveled with the bowl then with his previous bowl, which is why I was looking for an elevated cat bowl to begin with. It's also good for wet food. My other cat is very messy when it comes to eating wet food and the higher end of the bowl prevents him from flicking wet food out of it.

I absolutely loved this bowl! My cat was throwing up a lot until I got this bowl! And it's so cute. It's high quality. Not cheaply made like some bowls. Dishwasher safe and thick ceramic. It even has measurements inside to measure ur cats food or water if need be. I'd give this 10 stars if I could!!!🐈

I almost returned this bowl because my cat was initially terrified of it. I'm very glad I didn't. I decided to leave his old bowl down, with this one alongside it, and he began to use it. This is a solid, hefty, bowl. It is not only cute, but has lines inside for anyone who wants to measure their animal's food. The measurements are metric, but it would be very simple to convert them. It is ergonomically designed so that the animal can feed comfortably. I should also mention that the seller is very interested in making the customer happy. Not only was a warranty card included, which clearly explained the customer-friendly refund and replacement policy, but I received an email as well.

I have read cats digestive systems do better with elevated bowls. This was a part of Shaddows Christmas gift. He had been using regular flat stainless bowls. This boy is not fond of change and I have promised him No More Change too many times He first gave me the look but then he gave it a try and we have a winner I got 2 in teal for his water and dry food and the white one for his daily wet food Perfect Easy clean up. Nice quality ceramic. I would use them to serve guests lol because of the quality Kitty eats in style!

The thing that first sold me on this cat dish is their point that when your cat eats from an elevated position, instead of off the floor position, their spine is aligned. I was sold! I know how important spinal alignment is for us, and it stands to good reason that the same holds true for our pets...doesn't it? So, it came quickly. I was happy. I washed it, filled it, and waited. Naturally, being suspicious by nature, my cats sniffed and sniffed and circled before trying the food in this dish. It didn't take long before they ALL LOVED IT!!! It seems to be so much easier for them to eat from this dish than the ones I had set on the floor! They are happy. I AM HAPPY!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I really like these bowls, the size , the shape, the weight is great. That being said they seem to be very delicate compared to previous bowls I have purchased. They chip very easily. So you have to treat them like fine china.
