Shock your pool weekly and after pool parties and severe weather to remove contaminants, destroy odors, and keep the water clear. No premixing is required and dissolves fast! Shock day or night! Save time when shocking, as our XtraBlue Shock2 will treat 12,000 gallons of water and you can swim in 15 minutes! Always apply according to label directions. • A Pool Saver — Works Fast
Total product quantity: 192 Oz (12 Packs of 16 Oz)
Review Image by Haley D
It works incredibly fast, especially after heavy rain, a bunch of people have been swimming, or the water is just starting to look a little cloudy or questionable. I love that you don't have to wait forever to use the pool afterward. The fact that it's swim-ready in as little as 15 minutes is a HUGE plus, especially during the summer when telling everyone they can't get in the pool for the rest of the day isn't exactly an easy sell. It's also been great for keeping algae under control. After shocking, the water looks noticeably clearer and brighter, and I haven't had to fight that stubborn green tint nearly as much. The granular formula is easy to use, and having the 12-pack is much more convenient than realizing you're out right when the pool decides to turn cloudy overnight. If you have a pool and want something straightforward that tackles bacteria, algae, and cloudy water without a ton of hassle, this is definitely worth keeping in your pool supplies. It makes maintaining clear, clean-looking water a whole lot easier. ... show more

Review Image by Jenny’s Cozy Corner
I’ve been very happy with this Clorox Pool & Spa Shock. I use it regularly in my above-ground pool, and it does an excellent job keeping the water clean, clear, and properly sanitized. After treatment, the water looks noticeably brighter and clearer, and it helps prevent the cloudy water issues that can happen during hot summer weather. The granules dissolve well, and I appreciate the peace of mind knowing my pool is being properly treated. Maintaining a pool can get expensive and time-consuming, so it’s nice to have a product that works consistently without a lot of hassle. Total product quantity: 192 Oz (12 Packs of 16 Oz)
Best pool shock! It has everything I need for my above ground pool to keep it clean and chemically balanced. We tried many other brands and nothing worked like this. The pool is clear and all the levels are good. Only have to shock the pool once a week.

Used weekly and keeps pool water clean and clear. After a recent storm, had no power for 5 days, so no pool pump and it was hot. Water turned green. After 2 consecutive days of shock, water was clean and clear again.
