These are large square-bottomed white paper bags lined with a plastic bag. They work great for holding our recyclables until we are ready to dump them into the larger collection bin. We like the plastic liner as it catches all the drips from when we rinse the recyclables. The flat bottom is very stable and the opening is wide enough to handle gallon jugs. We tried a different container but it only had cardboard on the bottom which was soaked within a week and the top was so narrow you practically had to shake it apart to get the stuff out. These last a few months and are easy to wipe down inside with a disinfectant wipe to keep smells at bay. When it’s time to move on to the next one, we pull the plastic bag out and use it to line our kitchen garbage can for the week and then recycle the outer bag. They aren’t the most attractive, but the grandkids like to decorate them at the outset which helps. They’re great if you’re having an outdoor, socially distant get together: one for returnables, one for regular recycling. ... show more

These things are great. I am not using them as disposable, these have lasted me several months and are still being used. I use them in my kitchen for empty water bottles so I can collect them to go to the recycling place to get my CA refund. They're a good size while not being too big, look very nice next to my garbage can, and are rather sturdy. They get more sturdy the fuller they get. You can fit roughly 70 , 16oz water bottles in them. I like them a lot. I will continue to use these for a very long time. ... show more

These are great. I just moved into a new home with a very open floor plan. Yes, I could continue to use grocery bags alone to collect recycling indoors but they would be visible all the time and just look bad. These bags look really nice in a white and granite kitchen and seem very durable. I'm still using the first of three and have emptied it several times. I may start putting a grocery bag inside (there's room for it to fit) just to streamline moving it to the big bin in the garage when full but it's not necessary. Very happy with this purchase. UPDATE - It's 8 months since my initial order. I gave 1 of the 3 to my sister and the other two lasted me this entire time. I put grocery bags inside and just lift them out when it gets full. I love these little bags. We recycle at my house and I keep one of these in the kitchen next to the trash basket. I put small cans and misc. recyclable items in it. I just empty when it's full into the large barrel outside. It makes it easier rather than going out and down every time I need to get rid of something. I just make sure to rinse things out pretty good, so I do get some mileage out of one bag before I have to toss it. And when that bag goes out it just gets placed curbside with the recycled stuff. They even make them with different designs if that's your thing. Various holiday motifs and such. I have on occasion used them just for parties or cook outs. Soda and beer cans for recycling. The disposable trash bins worked out well for a recent party we had. The bins are more like a large gift bag with a trash bag connected. I was expecting something a little sturdier, like thin cardboard, but they worked just fine. The plastic trash bag liners are connected to the trash bin so they are a one time use only. These are great! Way bigger than I thought they would be, as I remember reading a review/answered question that said they were about the same size as a paper grocery bag. These are probably triple the size. They come with a bag already glued inside of them, but I got it to pop off from the inside pretty easily for reuse. My bf and used paper grocery bags for recycling our cans/bottles and cardboard. With these we can fit so much more before needing to be emptied. We continue to line them with 13 gallon garbage bags, and I believe that eventually they will pay for themselves, as we live in LA and are charged ten cents for every paper bag from the grocery store. ... show more
