  • Great wood slats!
Size: Twin
I thought these were great wood slats. They were true to measurement and fit the bottom of a bunk bed perfect. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is because only the top and bottom slats had predrilled holes (no screws included). Even though it didn't make much of a difference on a low lying bunk bed (bottom bed). If I had wanted to place it on a top bunk, I would have had to drill my own holes and screwed in the slats (to make it secure). I think these slats would have been perfect if all slats had predrilled holes (giving the consumer the choice if they wanted to just lay the slats on a bed frame, screw all the slats into a bed frame or just screw in the top and bottom slats) ... show more

  • Exactly what I was looking for
Size: Queen
Long story short, I had to replace the box spring for my Ikea Malm queen bed, and the new box spring was slightly too small for the actual frame so it made my entire bed rock back and forth and extremely unsteady. It was driving me absolutely nuts, so I decided I should get the wooden planks that accompany the bed. I tried to go on Ikea since they provide them there, but with covid-19, they were not allowing me to purchase. I looked on Amazon and this one arrived in two days, which was great! Make sure to double check the measurements on your bed frame by looking online, where you purchased it, etc. and make sure it matches up with the sizes of the wooden planks. I made sure to do this so I didn't end up with planks too big or too small. However, I will say that these planks were $20-$30 more than the ones on Ikea's site, but because I was desperate, I decided to bite the bullet. I guess it's a pretty normal price for that kind of set, but Ikea just offers really affordable prices. Overall, I'm happy with this. My back no longer hurts from an unsteady bed! This was exactly what I needed. ... show more

  • Works well on my bed frame.
Size: Queen
I bought a new mattress and decided to get rid of my box spring. My Queen bed had three slats that screw to a ledge built into the frame sides. I didn't feel three slats would be enough to support the BeautyRest Platinum Preferred mattress without a box spring so purchased these slats. I wouldn't worry about the length of the slats - If your queen mattress fits onto the ledge supports, then the slats will fit. I worried a bit after I read a review about the slats being too long - or too short but they fit perfectly. The connected slats were awkward to place because the group is a bit heavy. It would have been easier to place them one by one because one is much lighter than the whole group at once. (I am an older woman.) Once the slats found support on the ledge I was able to slide them all into place. The tape stapled to the slats helped with spacing once positioned on the ledge. There was a slight odor and luckily it was a nice day so I aired them for a few hours. So far so good. The slats don't bend when I get onto the bed and it feels sturdy. ... show more

  • Worked great with a bit of creative thinking
Size: Twin
I have a daybed. It's 30 years old. Never replaced my spring frame. I recently bought a brand new FIRM mattress after my back surgery but wasn't feeling any of the "firm". I figured it was my old springs. I saw this product and thought it was genius. However, I didn't think about the fact that these boards would not be fitting down in a frame; but laying right on top of it (see photo). So, when I went to lay the mattress on it, it pushed the whole thing backwards. UGH. So, really wanting to make this work-I used plastic ties and anchored that sucker right on (you can see all of them in my photo). Worked like a charm. My mattress now feels amazing and I don't have a low back ache when I stand up from laying on it. I probably could have achieved the same thing with a big piece of chip board, but I'd already bought this so I made it work. ... show more

  • It's sturdy
Size: Twin
I'm not sure what I think about this. It was heavy for sure, and I had a difficult time getting it on my bed to lift. The slats are pretty thick so it has raised my mattress about two inches off the platform, which for many people would be fine but for me it's a little hard to sit on the side of my bed. However I put some silicone sliding between the boards and the mattress and it doesn't slide much. It does some, and the wood will slide to the other side of the bed, so I push it back So I guess the two things I don't like is how thick they are, maybe could be a tad thinner, and that they are only held together by a strap between them. ... show more

  • Measurements are incorrect
Size: Queen
The detailed product description states: โ€œThe slats measure 2 ยพโ€x 3/4โ€ โ€ฆ. The slats are spaced approximately โ€ฆ3.1โ€ apart for EU Full, Full, and Queenโ€ฆโ€ I ordered queen size slats, and they are less than 2.5โ€ wide and are spaced slightly less than 4โ€ apart. Depending on your mattress, this can be the difference between voiding your mattress warranty or not, so be careful. ... show more

  • If you measure properly - these work great!
Reading all the negative reviews really made me hesitant to even order this - but I did. Great choice!! Had an old bed frame that needed slat support for a hybrid mattress. I measured inside the rails and it measured 38". These slats were the only ones I could find that had the Euro twin option that measured the slats just shy of what I needed. These are true to size and they fit PERFECTLY in the frame. The end slats did have two holes to secure to the frame which I used to install 4 small screws. It is solid and secure support for this guest room bed now. Ordered on a Wednesday and was delivered on Saturday in perfect shape. Well worth it!! ... show more

  • Incorrect Length and Width
Size: Queen
I ordered a queen size bunkie board, but I was either sent a king size bunkie board by mistake or somebody mixed up the length and width. I measured my bed frame between the rails before I ordered the product and it met the exact dimensions of the Queen bunkie board listed on Amazon at 59.875" W x 78" L x 0.75" H. But, when I opened the product this morning to install it, the boards were 78" W and 59.875" L so that they were too wide for my 59.875" W bed frame and too short for my 78" L bed frame. But it was too much trouble to send the product back so I cut down the frame width to 59.875" W and reused existing slats on my bed to make the bunkie board 78" L. I priced it out and it is only around $70-$80 to make your own bunkie board from scratch using your own wood, fabric, and staples. Not worth $129.99 if the product is not ready to use when I receive it. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN. ... show more
