I know this product is not recommended for gray hair, but I like the fact that it will wash out and I can recolor when I want, rather than seeing gray roots and having the difficulty of coloring my roots at home by myself. My hair is almost completely gray on the top, but underneath and ends are mostly my natural light brown. I got the light blonde color because I was afraid of going too dark but will probably try the medium blonde next time. For now I give five stars but will update my review when I wash my hair for a couple months to see how well it lasts. So far I like it and it seems to match my natural dark blonde hair color nicely. I can’t imagine it will get much lighter in the next month due to washing hair which would be expected. Just hoping the tone stays the way it is now and doesn’t get too brassy. I added before and after of wet and dry hair as reference. I only colored the blonde parts of hair and left roots untouched. ... show more

I really like this semi permanent, non-damaging hair color but I feel like the color description is a little off. I thought it would just tone my hair to a cooler blonde but it feels really closer to Brown and a medium brown at that . Next time I’m going to order a lighter shade of blonde. I do like that this covers up your roots in a really natural way, especially if you have gray sprinkled roots. The good part about it being Demi permanent is usually in about 4 to 6 weeks it should return to your natural color, So if you don’t like it you can always try again. ... show more

So easy to use! Just mix color and developer, put on your hair, wait 15 to 20 minutes, rinse and done!!! Next add the conditioner and rinse out!

I tried twice - I first bought the dark blonde and it did nothing but make my hair shiny. Then I bought this medium cool blonde and it still did nothing but make my hair shiny. I promise that I did it right.. watched videos and followed the instructions. So, just note: this doesn’t change your hair color. Turned my hair reddish, not cool. I use another brand of Demi that is just a little too dark. My hair has gone salt and pepper, and the permanent color I used when I was younger was making the pepper brassy. I started using an ash dark blonde Demi because it tones down the permanent color I am trying to grow out and covers the white streaks decently. I figured I’d try a lighter deposit only, but this is not for me. I will definitely go back to the other brand. Hope it washes out quickly. Also had more hair in the drain than usual.
