Overall very nice fan I'm quite happy with it it was super easy to put together and install the instructions are very clear although they are just kind of screenshots from the video that they also have which is very helpful although I didn't need to watch the video to put it together nor would I but I went ahead and watched it anyway and it did help make things a little easier but everything is dead simple and pretty much impossible to get wrong the fan itself looks very nice and much better than the super old fan that it replaced the light is very nice and bright the only slight downside with it is with my old light it lit up the entire room including the ceiling and this doesn't really light up anything above it that great however it also doesn't beam you in the eyes no matter where you're laying which is nice on to the more bad things or slightly annoying issues I had one is the main reason I got it was so that I could connect it to my Google home and well I was able to connect it to Google and it was very quick and easy unfortunately it only shows up as a fan so while I can control the fan by voice I cannot control the lights which arguably is the more important thing to be able to control by voice so the only way I can control the lights is through the app or the remote which is a little bit disappointing however I can deal with it since everything else is so nice the only other small issue I had was the music SYNC feature it was a little bit difficult to get it to work and when it does work it honestly doesn't look that great or that terribly synced however I really don't care and I would never really use that feature anyway I was just messing around with it the fan itself puts out amazing air though so that's good also it is unbelievably quiet my old fan made the worst racket you could imagine and wobbled like crazy so having this fan is a big difference as it is dead silent and does not wobble one bit ... show more

I do handyman work on the side and have installed quite a few ceiling fans over the years, so I generally have a good idea of what separates an average fan from a great one. This is easily one of the most impressive ceiling fans I've ever installed. One of the first things that stood out was the instruction manual. I normally don't bother reading fan manuals because installation is usually straightforward, but this one was exceptionally well done. The manual is full color, clearly illustrated, and labels every component and connection. That turned out to be helpful because this fan includes additional wiring for the advanced lighting and smart-home features that you don't typically see on standard ceiling fans. What really impressed me, however, was how stable the fan is. Out of all the fans I've installed, this is by far the smoothest and most wobble-free. Once it's mounted and balanced, it simply starts, runs, and remains perfectly steady. Even at higher speeds, there is virtually no movement or vibration. The lighting system is equally impressive. The light output is extremely bright, with adjustable brightness and color temperature settings that make it easy to tailor the room's lighting. It also includes RGB lighting modes, which add a fun decorative element that most ceiling fans simply don't offer. The remote control is more advanced than any ceiling fan remote I've used before, but that's largely because this fan offers so many features. If you prefer smart-home control, the fan can also be connected to a smartphone app and integrated with Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit, and other compatible smart-home platforms. One feature I particularly liked is that the fan and light appear as separate devices within the smart-home ecosystem, allowing independent control of each function. The manufacturer also includes extra hardware, which is a thoughtful touch for anyone who has ever dropped a screw and spent twenty minutes crawling around under furniture looking for it. Between the excellent build quality, exceptional stability, powerful lighting, smart-home integration, and well-designed installation process, this is honestly one of the best ceiling fans I've ever worked with. Some purchases quietly do their job, and then some completely steal the show. This ceiling fan definitely falls into the second category. We put this in our baby's room, and it instantly became one of my favorite features in the entire house. The design is clean and modern, but the real fun starts when you play with the lighting. Being able to switch colors and adjust the brightness completely changes the feel of the room. Whether it's a calm nighttime glow for winding down or something a little more colorful and playful during the day, it adds such a nice touch. The fan itself is no slouch either. The airflow is impressive without sounding like a helicopter is preparing for takeoff. I'm constantly moving around, picking things up, cleaning, and chasing the never-ending list of things that come with having a little one. By the time I finally sit down in the rocking chair, one click of the remote and I go from overheated to feeling like I accidentally wandered into the Arctic. The six speeds give plenty of control, and the quiet operation is a huge plus in a nursery. I also appreciate how easy it is to adjust everything. The remote, app controls, and voice options make it convenient no matter where you are in the room. The dimmable light is bright when you need it and soft when you don't, which has been surprisingly useful during late-night baby duty. Overall, this fan has been a fantastic addition. The install went similar to any other ceiling fan. Took an hour+ doing it by myself. The fan moves air well, fairly powerful at full speed. The light is extremely bright ato 100% when using the white or natural light even during daytime on a sunny day. The colored lights are not nearly as bright but i wouldn't expect that people are using the colors to truly light up a room anyway. The remote works well, no issues there. The reason it get 3 instead of 5 is, no matter what I did I could not get this to connect to wifi, which you need to do if you want to use with Alexa or Google Hub. I tried using the IOT settings on my router to create a 2.4Ghz network, and that didn't work. I tried turning off the 5G bands and SON on my regular network and that didn't work. I have been able to get devices that will only connect over the 24G band connected without issue in the past, but after repeated attempts this just would not connect. You can get the app to connect via Bluetooth, which is fine if you are in the room, but that will not able voice assistants. I deducted 2 stars because using this with Alexa was one of the primary factors in buying this model. I have grandchildren who constantly leave lights on and I wanted to build an automation that would auto-shut the light off after their bed time just in case it got left on. ... show more

This fan is fantastic! It comes with very detailed instructions, complete with clear pictures, and even includes a QR code that links to a setup video. If you’ve never installed a ceiling fan before, this one makes the process much easier. One thing that was different from other fans I’ve installed is the blade design. The blades attach from the inside rather than the outside, which took me by surprise at first. There are quite a few screws included, so pay close attention during assembly. The silver screws are for the blades, and when removing the motor housing, keep those screws separate from the other black ones. I mixed them up by accident, and it definitely added some extra time to the installation. Once installed, you can control everything with either the remote or the app. I had a little trouble pairing the app at first because the fan starts flashing as soon as it’s powered on, which is when it enters pairing mode. My advice is to download and set up the app before turning the fan on for the first time. That said, the remote works great and gives you full control if you prefer not to use the app. My favorite feature is the RGB lighting. The color-changing mode cycles through different colors and looks really cool. You can adjust the brightness, choose from different shades of white light, or select colors like red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white. The fan itself runs smoothly and works perfectly.
