I’m not a coffee snob but I do enjoy the good coffee.i am extremely happy with this machine.it’s fast,it’s easy,it comes with everything you need to get started right away.since buying this I have been stopped going to coffee shops and I genuinely look forward to making my own lattes .the espresso it produces is excellent—rich,smooth,and consistent every time.for a compact machine,the quality is surprisingly good for home use.one of the things I appreciate most is the size.its small and doesn’t take up much counter space,which is perfect for if you have a smaller kitchen.I’m very happy with the machine.if you’re looking for a compact espresso machine that produces great espresso at home,that is a solid choice!

My first espresso machine. I have used it everyday since I bought it to make myself double espressos. Easy to use and clean. It has a steam wand but I have not used it. The things I have learned : use good quality dark beans and fine grind them. Buy yourself a good tamper to push down the ground beans. After a few times I was able to get the tamping down so I get a perfect crema everytime. Nice creamy espresso. Yum. I also bought a set of porcelain espresso cups and saucers and a glass frothing cup ( in case I try to use the frother one day ). Im saving myself a lot of money by skipping the coffee shops and making my own espresso at home. Great value. I sometimes add a little cream or syrup flavors to the cup before I make the double shot espresso for a nice treat and change. Stainless steel color looks sharp and modern.

I’ve been really happy with this espresso machine. It was straightforward to set up, and after a couple of practice shots it started making rich, flavorful espresso with a nice layer of crema. The steam wand works well for frothing milk, so it’s easy to make lattes and cappuccinos at home. It has a compact design that doesn’t take up much counter space, and it feels sturdy for everyday use.

I am new to espresso and would like to enjoy without breaking the bank and tried few before that I have to return due to water spills, jamming and shut off in between making coffee due to overheat. I have been using Espresso machine for nearly 6 months on and off and finally I can say - I love the product for the following - price - space - preinfusion and pressure gives rich crema - with right espresso beans freshly grind to right size - auto shutoff The espresso taste is based on the espresso coffee beans and I tried a few. The preinfusion and pressure system gives a rich crema. Tried with freshly ground coffee beans and it took a while for the right size - not too coarse, not too soft - can give rich crema with espresso flavour and fresh coffee smell. Everyone has the sweet spot, try different and do not get discouraged. The taste and flavour - in my opinion not any issue of any decent espresso machine. The device protects itself from overheating and auto shuts off after usage. Sometimes, especially when I am busy doing others - autoshut off helps. I clean the portafilter after every usage and its has been good without anything get struck. Unfortunately, they are 4 issues that I felt the design of machine could have been better and took one star away for the budget espresso machine - Milk frother, once I use the frother - the system holds off with blinking lights likely overheated and cannot use the espresso. Frother gets cold and looses air. I am using whole milk. Requires a separate frother to enjoy a hot espresso. - The portafilter handle broke after 3 months of usage. The screw holding the handle and the portafilter inside the handle separated, and there is no easy way to fix it. Reached out to seller and the advice was to get a new one, rather to fix new one. There is nothing wrong with portafilter or the handle - just the attachment screw came out or loosened from inside. - Espresso making sound, initially for first 2-3 months the coffee machine was not too loud. Recently its been getting louder than normal. -The cup holder base is smooth, if you are making espresso and not paying attention to the cup - it might slide off due to the vibration and can spill over. I have to put a wet paper towel and leave it there to ensure, I do not accidentaly lapse my attention while making coffee. Overall, the espresso for the cost is a good purchase - recommend cost concious espresso users. Hopefully, the manufacturer takes the design issues seriously in the next product upgrade.

This very attractive, counter space saving machine actually makes a very nice espresso with tons of crema. I had originally given it 1 star because of an assembly issue with the water reservoir rendering it unusable. I contacted Chulux and ended up returning the machine for a full refund from Amazon. After about a week, Chulux contacted me and was very apologetic and offered to send me a complete replacement for free. I had already purchased a De’Longhi Linea Classic from Walmart but accepted and decided to compare the two and opted for the Chulux. Yes, partly because it was free but I felt the quality between the two was very comparable but the Chulux generated substantially more crema. The Chulux is also very attractively designed with what appear to be quality materials. In using it for the past 2 months I haven't found any issues with it operationally. Since I like Ristretto shots, I was trying to get the pressure gauge pointing straight up for the 'optimal' pressure of around 9 to 10 bars but couldn't quite get there (even though the espresso was very good having a slight edge to it). Link (their customer rep) explained that the machines come with a dual wall filter basket and I would have to get a single wall basket to address the pressure issue as those enabled the flexibility to experiment with how tightly you pack the coffee, how fine you grind it and etc. I'm fairly simplistic in my skill set and didn't realize this was a big learning curve that would take time to perfect. With all that said, I don't think you'll go wrong with this machine. Give it a "shot".
