I didn't realize I needed to do this every year, yeah that's on me. So it's been over 5 years since I had my tankless installed. The water pressure and heat have gotten worse and worse the last year. Till I was really low on psi on the far shower. Using this kit. I ran it for an hour. And man the water was gross and what came out was gross. But ...... Water pressure PSI, and heat are back. I got to turn the water heater down, and the pressure is up across the house. Easy to use and works great. Plan for two hours from start to finish with setup, using it, flushing it, and clean up.

Great kit. Purchased and flushed my tankless hot water heater. This was an easy procedure and facilitates routine maintenance for your hot water heater. Why pay someone else to do this when this kit makes the procedure so easy! It pays for itself after one use!

Last year I hired a professional company to come and flush the tankless water heater in our newly acquired home. They charged $364 dollars. Most of the time was the technician literally sitting on the floor and playing on his phone while the pump did the work. I couldn't believe this service cost this much money and was enfuriated. A year later, it was time for another flush. I did some research on YouTube to see what the process entailed, and combined it with what I observed as the tech did the work a year prior and felt comfortable trying it myself. I found this kit, which was highly rated here on Amazon. The process is very straight forward once you understand what it is trying to do with the water flow, chemicals and pump. Let it run for an hour, and resulted in a lot of "crud" cleaned out of the system. Worked great! Saved HUNDREDS of dollars doing it myself and I'm very thankful.

Solid product. My thoughts, use a sharpie write out order of operations for descale on the inside of lid. IE shut off water to house, hook up hoses etc. for your home. Sharpie outside of bucket with, last year of service of water heater. Plan beyond your memory or life for your family. Other than that, only use the contents for this task to keep from fouling the pump or hose threads.

This kit has everything you need to flush you system. The pump is powerful and quiet while circulating the cleaning Descaling solution through the system. The well constructed color coded hoses were a welcome surprise and the plastic lift platform for the submersible pump worked exceptionally well. When finished everything fits back into the bucket for convenient storage until you system needs flushing again. Well worth the investment for this necessary maintenance process.
