I bought this in March 2023. I had used the very last of the wire I had purchased from somewhere else. I can't remember where. First thing right off, packaged very well but then they bent down about 6 inches of material and flattened it out so it was not usable. That is wasteful. I hope it was not part of the 40 feet. I am not going to unroll this thing to check to see if it is the correct length. The third thing, I did notice it was pretty consistent in the width unlike the roll I bought elsewhere. The fourth thing I noticed upset me. I cut it to fit the frame and was gently straightening the curve out to flatten it for capture. The wire broke, right at where I cut it off. And as I am holding it and staring at it, another wire broke off so I have a slit in the wire about 2 inches in. What? Fortunately, I have a frame built around it that captures 3/4 of the split part. I would not use this for chickens. The wildlife probably could rip through this. Maybe it is a bad batch or maybe the delivery person did something rough with it. But I could not see any smashed places or dents.
