Good enough for a backyard enclosure. Would not trust to keep out predators on an open pasture area. Easy to assemble. Not super sturdy. The door, is not a perfect fit. It does not latch enough but enough to keep door closed. I had plenty of extra chicken wire left over so I do feel like the value was appropriate based on how much it costs for chicken wire at TSC. This chicken run is a good affordable option for small flocks or as a temporary outdoor setup, but expect some extra effort with assembly and durability. Pros: Great price for the size Lightweight and easy to move around the yard Straightforward frame assembly Cons: Netting installation is awkward with unclear instructions Poles bend easily; plan to reinforce weak spots You’ll probably need extra zip ties We bought this outdoor chicken run to give our growing flock of ducks more space after outgrowing their brooder, and it does the job — but not without a few hiccups. The frame went together quickly and the finished structure is lightweight enough to move when needed, which I appreciate. However, the included netting is a headache. There aren’t any real instructions for attaching it, and the supplied zip ties are just barely enough (I recommend grabbing a few extras). The poles also bend easier than expected, so if you plan to move it often or deal with windy weather, you might want to reinforce the corners. Overall, it’s a decent budget-friendly option if you’re looking for a quick enclosure to keep your birds safe, but don’t expect heavy-duty construction out of the box. Chicks like it. Lots of work putting together and requires patience yes indeed. Took us two days to put together. We put the chicks bed inclosure in it for sleeping and a rake with swings and ladder made for chickens and food & water. Everything fits for 9 chickens just fine. The big girls came and were moving in lol. & Checking out the new comers. We purchased this for a way to gently introduce the new chicks to the older hens. Do not buy. The door gave us a lot of trouble. The hinges didn't line up. No matter what way we flipped it. Tripled checked the instructions. It was assembled accordingly. The door could use an extra support The rest was easy to assemble. It failed at the last moment.

The frame is the easy part. The fencing, not so much. We wish it had been pre-cut to fit the top, back, sides, and 3 sections of the front (side, door, side) but it wasn't. We ran out of ties about 1/2 way through. Took lots and lots of time and then not totally happy with how the fencing stuck out places. wrapping took mega ties. Now that it's done, we've been using it for our 4 ducks. They seem to love it so all is good ... show more
