Straightforward assembly, which is good because the instructions were not super clear. I was able to do it by myself and despite its lightweight, it is pretty sturdy - likely because the six points of ground contact. Functionally, the chickens only use it in the spring and fall - in the winter it is too cold (metal) and in the summer it is too hot (metal). The center swing constantly comes loose or gets stuck. Neither the ducks not the turkeys use it at all. Homebrew fixes, to help remedy the too cold/hot issues, I painted over the metal perching areas with Rhino Liner I had left over. I used a wrench to pinch the loops closed, meaning the center swing no longer falls off but I have not been able to stop it from getting caught on the interior legs occasionally. ... show more

Finally got this together bought it used like new but unfortunately they did not include directions. After a few trial and errors was able to fully assemble and the ladies are loving it. I wasn’t even able to find a video with assembly instructions.

Chickens absolutely love this! Just like everything else they climb on, they pooped all over it, but it is also easy to clean off with a garden hose. Its fun to watch the chickens play on this all day!

Sturdy, worth the $. I thought it would just be wood but it’s a metal frame and synthetic wood that should be easy to clean and last! Now, if I could just get my chickens on it, it would be a total win 😂

After I got it together (typical PITA to assemble) I put it in the coop and the chickens ignored it. The swing falls off if you breathe on it but lately I’ve been putting treats on top to get them to climb it so it’s been getting used sometimes over all it’s something different for them to navigate so it’s served it’s purpose ... show more

The swing does not stay on and constantly falls off. The quality of the perch is ok, but I don't see it lasting long, but it's cute and my chickens get on it all the time.
