We liked these but our chickens didn’t. We put them in their boxes and when we went out the next day for feedings they had torn them all up and they were all over the ground. I think they enjoy their soft silicone matting instead. We only had two hens who liked them and kept them there all night.

I love these beautiful nesting pads! They go very well with my fall plumage. These are very nice for sound suppression as well, I can barely hear the other hens gossiping in the boxes next to me. The eggs make a satisfying bouncy sound, 5 out of 5 stars.

I decided to try these because my chickens kept kicking the straw out of the nest box. These pads have fixed that issue and I couldn’t be happier, less mess. Changing out chicken nesting box bedding can be quite the task. The old straw is full of poop, dirt and who knows what else and the new straw is so dusty it gets everywhere when your switching it out. These nesting pads take the mess out of changing the nesting box. It turned my 1 hour process into a 5 minute process, that's a game changer! ... show more
