The chicken coup seems good for the money. Might be a little small for my 4 hens when they are full grown but we'llsee. It's going inside a 6' x 24' predator proof run. The coup comes with a red stain, not paint as pictured. I painted the outside and the nest area with red paint. It looks way better painted and gives it better protection. Its worth what you pay for it. Its a great house for chickens. With the many doors in this coop its fairly "easy" to catch your chickens when you want to take them out. It looks good and is fairly sturdy. Its cheap China wood so it is a little weak in spots and the front bowed out on the bottom so the door under the "house" part of the coop gets caught when opening but other then that its a great coop. We got 6 chickens thinking 2 or 3 wouldnt make it (according to my gf) but yay they all made it and are healthy. Now the coop is too small. We bought another model of this coop and I plan to use the parts from both and make 1 big coop to accommodate all 6 chickens. ... show more

This is a very small coop and run. I wouldn't think more than 2 chickens should live in this full time. And they should definitely be let out to free range. I have 4 hens that I use this as temporary housing until I can introduce to my flock and large coop. It's working for now, but they are growing fast! It was easy to assemble and does the job. It is not very sturdy and made out of flimsy material. I built a run around it for added protection. ... show more

My ducks like it. I have hens as well that sometimes go inside to check it out but they have a 10’ by 12 coop for themselves. It is well made, just the ramp needed some adjustment. Overall I recommend this coop.

This works great for if you either have a few hens or if you need something to separate a hen from the rat of the flock to sit on her eggs and then the chicks to grow big enough to let out with the rest of the flock. I put mine inside of the run of my big coop.

Love this little coop for my twelve chickens. It says 8-10 chickens but they squeeze on in every night. My honeys gonna enlarge it a little for me soon. The instructions were a bit off when putting the panels up. Had to tear apart to switch two around. Some were stamped with a letter others were not. I think this is where the confusion and difficulties came from. Other than that it is a nice coop for the money.
