The media could not be loaded. Update after 2 years of use and two bear attacks… it’s still standing. I’m very impressed! I was so happy that this was delivered so quickly! After waiting two months for the Omlet brand coop, which was repeatedly delayed for no apparent reason, I finally orders this. The company shipped it right away and my birds had a home within the week. The coop itself is pretty nice. It’s comparable to the coops you usually find at farm supply stores. Some of the wood does feel a bit flimsy when you start assembly, but when everything is screwed together, it makes a pretty sturdy structure. I did just get it so I can’t speak to how long it lasts, but it looks like it should hold up well. ... show more

This was a fairly easy set up, that me, my 8 year old grandson, and my 10 year old granddaughter put together in about 3 hours. Our 4 chickens seem happy for now. I may choose to add on to it eventually, but for now, and for the money it seems perfectly adequate for our needs.

It is cute, but no way I would put 10 chickens in here- not even bantams! Six bantam would be a stretch. 4 full size chickens max. It was easy enough to put together. And we will reinforce for storms. So with 4 chickens, even 6, who would need four nesting boxes? I wish it only had two boxes and used other space for roosting. Possibly put food and water in one box. If I had it to do over- I would had built something simple with more room. While dimensions are listed- it is hard to get perspective- that why I showed pics of hands. ... show more

After reading several different reviews of different chicken coops, we're very happy to have selected this one! The asphalt roof is wonderful; it arrived even quicker than anticipated; it may have taken a little longer than stated for two of us to assemble, but truly worth taking our time! The holes for the screws are predrilled, and out of all of them, there was only one that was off center; it was going to cause a fracture in the wood, but we were able to use our dremel and make a new hole. I like the locking feature of the doors. The chickens have taken to it wonderfully! ... show more

    • Not worth the price
While the coop is super cute, it is definitely not worth the money. It is poorly made and I would be surprised if it even makes it through an Iowa winter. Multiple pieces were broken, it’s scratched, and looks cheap. It’ll serve its purpose for a while and thankfully we have it protected by a shed otherwise I have no doubt in my mind the wind would knock it over. ... show more
