  • Great product
I had my Chicago Pneumatic WALL-AIR - Wall Mounted 1.5 HP Electric Air Compressor mounted at eye level in my garage and I love it! The retractable hose is a wonderful feature that anyone can appreciate. The compressor works great for airing up anything from pool floats, toys, bike and car tires. The assortment of heads included with this item come in handy. I use one of "heads" to blow out the dust from accumulating on the aluminum coil on the cooler in my garage. ... show more

  • Could Not Find A Use For This Compressor
I was stoked to get this unit. After dumping my 20 year old compressor, I was left with no compressor & no hose. So this unit was going to check all of the boxes. Compact. Wall mounted. Built In hose. Even attachment caddy. I didn't need anything heavy duty. Just enough air to inflate tires, detail the car, use in the garage, etc.. And having a 25' 3/8" hose built in to a compact wall mounted unit. It was gonna be awesome. Unfortunately, it was very much not awesome. The unit is very compact & looks great mounted. The hose reel works great & is very good quality. What is not of good quality was the air pressure. Or lack of. I realize there is no tank. So, I wasn't expecting a steady stream of air for minutes at a time. I was hoping for enough air pressure to at least move around some dust, let alone inflate a tire. What you get is bursts of air. You will get 1-2 seconds of a decent blast. Then after that, I could blow harder then this thing. So I found myself having to press/release, press/release, press/release to get any steady stream of air. After about 5 minutes of that, I knew this unit wasn't gonna last long! I returned it for the Chicago Pneumatic (same company) small tank model which is not wall mounted (nor does it have a built in hose) BUT has a 1 gallon tank, is small enough to sit on the bench & is cheaper than this dud. And more importantly, works great for all of the tasks noted above. ... show more

  • wont make air

  • Okay for filling tires.
The benefit to this device is it’s hose to reach out into the driveway. The unit does not have a tank or a very small tank. It is convenient but does not have a lot of power. You will not be using the air tip for blowing out dirt in between seats. Is it worth $200? I guess so, but just barely.

  • Very powerful!
I It’s powerful and can run most of air tools and can pump up anything fast .. only downfall it’s on the louder side .. there is no tank so th unit runs the whole time it is in use ..all in all very convenient and very powerful

  • Do Not Buy
Unit didnt even come with anything listed on the box. It is weak and has no power. Not worth the money.

  • Seems Adequate, Does the Job
Put this in a 3-bay garage for occasional tire filling. Seems well made, no complaints after initial use. However, the manual that comes with it needs work. It has several pages devoted to the installation, but practically nothing regarding operation and use of the provided air gauge/filler mechanism. With the compressor running, you clip the hose end to the valve stem, and it shows you the current pressure in the tire. When you pull the trigger, the compressed air stream is delivered to the tire. This causes the pressure gauge to jump to the level of the air being delivered, not the pressure in the tire. You have to let off the trigger to see the tire pressure. The gauge shows both metric and PSI values, but the PSI scale is fairly small and not easy to read, so this process is less than ideal, but workable once you get used to it. Even more disappointing is the plastic bag full of "accessories." There is nothing that explains what these are for, or how to use them. One piece is obviously a "needle" for filling sports balls, but the others...who knows? My expectation is that this unit will satisfactorily fill the job it was purchased for -- occasional tire filling, but between the poor manual, the mystery parts, and the hard to read gauge, I can only give it 3 stars. ... show more
