The grill was delivered on time. I opted to have Amazon put it together for me for free. It took them about 90 minutes. The grill was put together well and we verified that it worked before they left. They took all the garbage with them. They also took away my old grill. Excellent service. As for the grill, it’s much hotter than the char-broil I just replaced it with. It put some serious grill marks on my chicken. The chicken came out great. Veggies cooked super fast. Some people complained that there is lots of smoke, and there is. But nothing I can’t work with. Depends on the food, oil and temperature. All in all, a very nice grill. ... show more

Let me start with the only negative, it's not the easiest thing to put together. Everything fits perfect, the only issue is you continually have to blind thread screws that aren't magnetic into some pretty tough spots. That's it thats the negative. The amplifire burner system gets to 500 plus degrees in minutes, the included charcoal trays are fantastic and the griddle is more than useful. I had my previous 4 burner Charbroil for over 10 years and I fully expect to enjoy this one even more for the next 10!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Just received my new grill on Friday and couldn't be happier! It took my husband a little over an hour to put together and we fired it up right away. We first tried out the griddle with some smash burgers - the griddle was big enough to make a bunch of burgers and cooked pretty evenly. I did not buy this model from Amazon as I found it locally on sale for $100 less plus received an additional $50 veterans' discount the day before memorial day. It took me and my wife about 2.5 hours to assemble it once we had it home ( we took our time and made sure to understand the instructions well. The fit and finish were decent. The instructions were easy enough to follow. Unless you are completely unable to spin a wrench (screwdriver) than you should be able to put this together. Four hands are definitely a plus at times! Ours came with the Gas to Charcoal trays included (bonus). After burning off the oil we cooked up a few brats and dogs for supper. Nice even heat. Very quick to heat up and easy to maintain a good cooking temp. We looked at several options and brands before we made the purchase and this one was the best value and gave the most bang for the bucks I felt! ... show more

    • A great grill

It took least two hours to put it together. I did not plug in all the electric start wires correctly, but after a closer examination, I figured it out. Also the side burner gas line needs to be fished through a tiny little hole. You might want to try to do that before you put it completely together. It came with charcoal trays, which I’ve not used yet. The griddle I have used a few times. It’s really heavy. I have seasoned it with olive oil three or four times now. I put it to the left side of the grill and I noticed that the grease hole in the back of the griddle , aligns right over one of the burners. I thought this was not a good design. So anyway, I have opted to use the griddle right in the middle. But still the grease has to drip down the bottom of the grill and into a hole where the grease catch tray is. I don’t like this so I don’t use the hole. I am considering putting a piece of aluminum foil in the bottom of the grill to keep it as clean as I can. ... show more
