- SIDE BURNER: A 10,000 BTU side burner lets you keep your sides and sauces warm while you grill. You can also use it to boil water, saute vegetables or brew a pot of coffee.
- BTU RATING: This grill has a 34,000 total BTU rating. *BTU is a measurement of energy used by your grill and is not related to how hot it will get. Grills with lower BTUs burn less fuel to cook your food.
- GRATES: These steel grates are porcelain-coated to resist rust and make them easier to clean. They retain heat to cook food evenly and leave impressive grill marks.
- TEMP GAUGE: The lid-mounted temperature gauge displays accurate temps, so you always know the temperature inside the cooking chamber.
- SIDE SHELF: A large side shelf provides ample space to set plates, tools, sauces and rubs while you grill.
- GREASE TRAY: A removable, porcelain-coated grease tray catches drippings and slides out for easy cleaning. You can insert an aluminum liner to contain the drippings and keep the grease tray clean. When it's full, simply throw the liner away.

Third Tru-infrared grill I have owned in the past 12 years. If you are uncomfortable assembling things , this is not for you. The cabinet assembles easily if you follow instructions. Yes, it is lighter weight than my previous Tru-infrared, but the ballast weight keeps it on the ground. The back is open, but I added a plexiglass back panel below the hot parts to keep dirt and critters out. The infrared technology is different than the previous design. The emitter plates are integral with the ceramic coated grates. This is not a drawback. With a five minute warmup, the grill got up to 600 degrees. It actually cooked 3- 2 1/2" filets one minute quicker than the old grill. Very even heat distribution. The outrigger works very well. I am very pleased with the grill. Yes, I would rather have a more substantial cabinet and sub-structure. but this is what they are now providing. I have installed an aluminum liner, as suggested, to keep grease off of the bottom of the grill's heating chamber and have great hopes for longevity. The Tru-infrared cooking technology is truly outstanding. I got an extremely good deal on this grill, but received NO information on delivery except a statement that the delivery service would contact me to arrange delivery. After two weeks, I called the Amazon help desk and was told the delivery was at least two more weeks out. The help desk person was very helpful. The grill was delivered last week, after a month. This is not a reflection on the grill, but on the delivery service.

assembly takes a bit of time but pretty straight forward if you just work through the instructions. i love this type of reflected heat bbq - keeps flaring to a minimum and easier to cook meats like chicken and fish. overall i am very happy with the bbq and the delivery from amazon and would recommend. do be aware it arrives in a very big and heavy box that may required some help to move.

I procrastinated long as possible on buying a new grill. I love my 10 yr old Char-Broil RED Tru Infrared grill because it has the metal trough which stops food and liquids from reaching the burners and inside bottom. It's beyond the end of it's life with rust and a missing door (I shared a photo). Finally gave in and bought this grill. It was packed in a box with styrofoam and not a single issue with dents or missing parts. Assembly was easy. Cooked on it tonight and it gets very hot! One photo I shared shows a center grill plate. It's not included and was purchased separately and used with my old grill. Anyway, the metal lid is just as thick as the old one. Door and lid handles are heavy and will last many years. The base of the grill is not a sturdy though. It seems to wobble a bit. Likely for ventilation purposes, there isn't a back panel. I don't like this. Makes it too easy for animals to sneak inside. I'm adding a back panel. As long as the grill is covered when not in use, it should last at least 3 years.

Assembly instructions could be better. Especially the section with the curved locking pin that holds the side burner tube in place. Had to YouTube video that to figure it out. No matter how much you tighten up everything it is still a little wobbly. I wouldn't advise rolling it around too much as it makes it even more wobbly. Not heavy duty made like the old grills. That said, I still like this Grill very much. Cooks evenly without the flare-ups from greasy Foods.

We bought this to replace our finally worn, rusted out 22yr old CharBroil grill. Assembly was pretty easy! Take your time and get everything out of the box and lay it all out. We burned it in for 30 mins on hi. Temp got up to 600. Then cooled down, reheated and cooked Brats. Spaced them 4 across the front to test making sure there were no cold spots. They cooked perfect up front. So far loving this new grill!

Our Char Broil grill died after many years and found this online after a search for infrared grills. We have. 3 big box stores in town, but didn't find what I wanted. I like that foods are juicy and the flames don't ruin the meat. This works great and should last as long as our previous one. I didn't enjoy assembly, but it's done right and have no extra parts. 😃
