I have a LiftMaster with a purple learn button. It took me longer to get this out of the package than to program it. I think it took literally five seconds. Press the purple learn button, the press the remote button. Done. It works from the same distance of the original remotes, yet is much more compact and stylish that the original remotes. I only needed it for one door, but each remote can learn and operate two openers. For the price of the two remotes, it's practically a steal.

They are perfect size and made well. I dropped these remotes so many times and they didn't break and still work perfectly. They were so easy to set up as well, I have two liftmaster units one with a yellow program button and one with a purple program button. Out of all the choices on Amazon these were also the sleekist looking. They also come with a holder if you want to keep it on your visor in your car. I keep mine on my key chain and I didn't attach the visor bracket to the remot holder and I just use the holder as a cover so the buttons don't get accidentally pressed.

We have a 20 year old gate opener. Over the past 20+ years I have programmed numerous remotes for our gate opener (so I know what specifications are needed for a replacement remote). Our receiver has the Yellow Learning Button/LED. These remotes have the receiver learn colors which includes our color, Yellow. The remotes have to be set for Working Mode 1 or 2. Learning receiver LED’s that are purple red and orange work on Working Mode # 1 (Green LED on the remote). Receivers with the Learning LED color yellow and green must have the remotes set to Working Mode #2 (Red LED on the remote). …OR SO IT SAYS IN THE USERS MANUAL! For me…this was not correct. I spent a long time trying to get it to program without success. My receiver has a Yellow LED for the Learning/Programming. At my wits end… I decided to change the remotes back to the Working Mode # 1 (so the remote shows a green LED when you press a button). This would be the complete opposite of what the instruction book called for. With my receiver Learning LED being Yellow, I should be in Working Mode #2 (remote with a green LED showing when you press a button). However, after trying to program the remotes (set to the WRONG Working Mode), the system paired with the remotes. JOY AT LAST! If you cannot get them to program, consider changing the Working Mode to the second option and giving that a try. I have reached out to the seller regarding this issue. It includes a color Users Manual that is actually useful and well written (except for the Working Modes not agreeing with the Manual)! It also has nice color pictures which are clear and easy to understand! I like the wall mounts (two included) that allow you to wall mount the remotes. I also found that I can also use the mount at a protective cover for the buttons while carrying the remote in my pocket. This has worked well. Receiver range is reasonable. Also included are two key chain type carabineers and two visor mounts. The visor mounts actually attach to the wall mount. While a bit different…I have no complaints. The transmit range is acceptable, although not as far as my older larger remotes (with AA batteries, these use a coil style battery). So far I am very pleased with these remotes. Had it not been for my trying the exact opposite programming instructions…I would have returned these as defective and would have considered a 1-star review. However, since I figured this out and they are working well…I will give this a 4-star review. Thanks! MY PERSONAL COMMENTS: I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. We are provided the opportunity to order (free of charge) many items that are new to the market, or where a seller just wants some additional exposure for their product. We are NOT required to review every item in exchange for using it. I recently got these two remotes and I am extremely satisfied with them. For one low price, you get two remotes that can control two different garage doors each, making it an excellent value for multi-vehicle households. The remotes are compatible with my Chamberlain garage door openers with the purple learn button, and programming them was a breeze. It took me less than 30 seconds to set them up, which was a huge plus. The enhanced security features, including the Billion Code/Security+/Security+ 2.0 rolling code technology, provide peace of mind knowing that each use generates a new security code. The design of these remotes is compact and lightweight, similar to key fobs. They come with both a visor clip and a keychain, offering flexibility in how you carry them. The visor clips hold them securely, and the hole for a keyring is strong, although the included keychain might not be as durable. I would recommend using a sturdy keychain for daily use. The remotes have a shiny plastic body, which looks great but might show wear and tear if kept in a pocket with keys. However, this is a minor concern given their overall performance and value. Overall, these remotes are a fantastic deal. I have paid much more for less in the past, so I am very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable and affordable garage door remotes.

I am missing remotes from at least 3 garage openers and they all have different color buttons. This product is just what I need. It can handle remotes with a green or red light on it. It can talk to openers with either purple, red, yellow, or green buttons. Instructions show the learning process. I also see you can either carry it as a keychain, or snap it to your visor. A very compatible product I'm very pleased.

I recently had a Liftmaster 81550 garage door opener installed, and while it's an excellent device, it only came with one remote. To have a few extras on hand, I ordered these additional remotes and couldn't be more pleased. Their compact size is perfect—they fit comfortably in my pocket without being so small that I'd lose them. Programming them was a breeze thanks to the clear instructions, and they work flawlessly. A light press of the button opens my garage door from a couple of houses away. I hope they hold up over the years, but for now, I'm very satisfied with the product and the value for the price.
