abunda_amazon_reviews I have a friend who once told me that you end up using what you have because you already have it. That's very true with the old BBQ I suffered with for many, many years. This time, on what would've been it dozenth burner and universal fit grill replacement, I decided it was high time for a new Q. Flames were shooting two feet high on one side because yet AGAIN, the burner rusted out, and this time, I went Amazon browsing. Why did I wait so long to buy this new Q? The cast iron grill is about 18 x 16 inches, just right for the two of us. I can still cook eight or ten hamburger patties if we have people over. The cast grill is very even heat, so no raw meat in one corner, a charred briquette on the other like the wire grill on the old BBQ. (Which rusted up every six months) Everything below the grill is stainless steel, the burner tubes, the burner shields, and related parts. I doubt I will be seeing rust anytime soon on this barbecue. Lighting is instant with a push of the lighter button. I was expecting a snap type Piezoelectric lighter, but this one uses a AAA battery that machine-gun snaps while you hold the button, and when you hear the whoomp of the burners, you just let go of it. The top has an inner layer of metal, (heat shield) so if you accidentally lay a hand on it, you won't get an instant 2nd degree burn. That's a big plus. I was surprised at how easy it went together. I had tools ready, but needed nothing else other than just a #2 Phillips. Nut-serts are used in most places, and everything lines up correctly. No half-moon holes like a certain brand of flat-pack furniture always seems to be when assembling. The hardware is on a piece of cardboard with blister packing, and everything is labeled. Where you need four screws in a certain step, you will find four of those screws in a blister pod. Need eight? There's eight in their pod, so no losing parts before they're needed, you just cut open the one you need at a time.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Good quality, easy to assemble, and puts out the heat!;;Craig U.;;;Love the grill, tons of space for a tri-tip and burgers and buns. Needed a small grill for a first house and never really needed all the space of a three or four burner. Really like the Stainless exterior, the Cast Iron grills, and cabinet to hide the propane bottle and store accessories. I have used it now for a few months and cooked on it quite a bit, it heats up quickly and stays consistent. Overall great grill and so far there's nothing I'd change. Just a word to the wise, let it heat up and cook off any chemicals left on the cooking surfaces and cook something really fatty the first time you use it to cure the cast iron grills to keep stuff from sticking later. I got the matching grill cover to keep it clean and from getting peed on by the neighborhood cats, great investment, seriously.;;Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great grill, specially for the price.;;Jason;;;So far, so good. My boyfriend and I grill on this thing all the time. We love its size and how low maintenance it is. I read some reviews where people complained how hard it was to clean. I mean, if you get food or sauce on the grates...things are going to stick... Welcome to cooking. To prevent this, just oil the grates with some vegetable oil. One downside, and this may be our fault but the grill doesn't seem to get super super hot like some fancier grills. It doesn't necessarily char things well. BUT we learned a life hack where pack lava rocks around the burners to increase the heat. Google it. The more we use the grill, the more we learn how to handle cooking certain meals. I don't know, we're the type of people that don't really care that much for the fancier grills, so this works fine for us!;;Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2018;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Great little grill!;;Bo Kim;;;I assembled the grill yesterday without any problems, instructions are clear. The grill performs like the $600 one my parents had when I lived with them it’s just 2x smaller and doesn’t have a side burner and a few other small things. Make sure you cook your grill before using it, there’s residue and what not on the metal that needs to be burned off. Let the grill get to 500 degrees for about 10 minutes and it should be fine. The only thing I dislike is the bottom door where the tank is stored, they could have pushed the tank slightly back more and there would have been more room for storing things. Even with the small amount of space I was able to fit a box of assorted plastic forks and knives, 200 plates, and 300 napkins. I like having things stored at the grill so I don't have to shuttle everything out each time.;;Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;High Quality.;;Mark;;;Product arrived with hood completely dented in!!!
