  • This is what it claims it is
Style: 4200 PSI + 4.0 GPM + 389cc Pattern Name: Washer
I was extremely hesitant to purchase a 4200# pressure washer for the price this was. I couldn't find a legitimate one for at least another 250 dollars. I was sure I was missing something but it had the right brass pump straight from Italy, it had the bigger OHV motor, and supposedly a heavy duty hose for the wand. Lets start with the hose. It is a hydraulic hose. I am conflicted though, one part of me is very excited however the other side of me knows I need to roll it up and put it away. Overall the excited part of me is most correct. Crappy hoses busting out is not what you have to worry about. The motor. 390cc and it runs pretty good. It is not a Honda but it runs like it should. I just ran a Champion generator (different motor) for 2 days straight and it performed well and was pretty good on fuel so I feel pretty good about it. After 5 hours of use if there is a bunch of metal in the oil I will report back. The Pump. I previously used a honda with a no name pump. I replaced the pump probably 4 times and it was serviceable. When I was doing my research I came to understand I wanted a Triplex forged brass pump. I then seen in the description: AR (Annovi Reverberi) Commercial-Grade Triplex Brass Head pump is designed for high performance and has a forged brass manifold, providing corrosion resistance. It is a beast. I put the concrete cleaner on and it is literally like a helicopter. I spend a good deal of effort keeping this thing from going up in the air. I am a 50+ year old guy and I called two of my neighbors from out of their yards to check it out. Enough said. For the most part everything is where you would expect it and the detergent tank was of decent placement for protection. If a person wanted to pick apart the price leading 4200# high quality unit I would say the handle connection to the base is the pushpin lock in place that has a lot of play. The machine isn't balanced very well for pulling around but it is pretty stable during use. That's about it. I genuinely wished there was something like this 15+ years ago when I bought my last one. I would have probably been to cheap to buy it. Do your research. Triplex AR pumps last for thousands of hours vs. the others. If taken care of it will be a high performance low cost solution that I can annoy others by constantly bringing up with how happy I bought it and the deal I received. There is something oddly satisfying about a really good pressure washer. Not entirely sure, but I like it. ... show more

  • Workhorse
Style: 4200 PSI + 4.0 GPM + 389cc Pattern Name: Washer
This beast is a real workhorse. I got it to replace a 3600 psi Karcher washer that had gone kaput after just a few hours. That extra 600 psi makes a real difference. It’s much heavier duty, and will run for many hours reliably. I’ve found that it uses about half to three quarters of a gallon of gas per hour. (Make sure to use non ethanol gas.) It’s been starting on the first or second pull every time. The wand and hose are extra heavy duty and easy to connect and use. I found out the hard way that my Karcher’s wand had a specialized connector thread that only interfaces with its proprietary hose. This Champion has a generic thread that will connect to a wide variety of hoses and quick connects. I’ve been using a surface cleaner attachment with it to clean decks and driveways. I like how you can dial down the pressure for more sensitive surfaces like cedar, or go full pressure for concrete. It makes a cleaning job delightfully fast and thorough. One thing about setup: it ships with no oil in the engine. The instructions say to add oil before starting it, but don’t specify where. I accidentally put oil into the washer assembly, which already had oil! I know, silly me. Fortunately, it’s designed not to start unless there is sufficient oil in the engine. Make sure to open one of the two inlets at the bottom of the engine and use the provided funnel to fill it. I’ve been using this machine professionally. It’s too heavy for one guy to lift onto a pickup truck. I made a ramp with notches for the legs, so I can roll it onto the ramp, lock it into place, then tip the whole ramp up and slide it into the truck bed. ... show more

  • Works Well For My Needs
Style: 2800 PSI + 2.1 GPM + 196cc Pattern Name: Washer
I was getting tired of scrubbing my vinyl siding with a brush each year, so I decided to get my first power washer. I have had good luck with my Champion generator, and I liked the design, so I went with this one. Assembly went smoothly and it was easy to fire up. I completed all of the siding on the house and have moved on to my dirty driveway. It's amazing how much dirt had built up. Some thoughts: I possibly should have gone with the slightly larger model. This definitely has the power to clean my siding and concrete, but I have to hold the sprayer within 8-10 inches to get the work done properly, even with the 15 degree nozzle. Also, I am not impressed with the detergent system, which requires a separate nozzle to dispense and will empty the tank in less than a minute. By the time I am done switching the nozzles, the detergent has completely rolled off the surface. Finally, every once in a while, one of the clips securing the wheels pops out, which is annoying. Other than those few things, I am very pleased with the purchase and it will do exactly what I need it to do. ... show more

  • A must have
Style: 4200 PSI + 4.0 GPM + 389cc Pattern Name: Washer
Delivery was great, well packaged. I have used many pressure washers over the years and have to rate this one at or near the top. Put the oil in it(supplied with pressure washer) filled up gas, one pull and fired right up. I used it to clean myy driveway, looks brand new again. I did purchase a surface cleaner as well, given the pressure of this machine i would recommend a heavier metal one with rollers. Every time after shutting it down would start again with one pull. In my opinion this is an absolute work horse, extremely powerful and definitely plenty of pressure. Assembly was straight forward, very easy. For the money i think this is as good as you can get. Have used more expensive pressure washers and not had the results of this one. As a home owner this is a must have. ... show more
