Chamberlain is so anxious to get you hooked up to the internet of things they include a 20-page manual for that, but couldn't be bothered to include some actual installation instructions. What a joke.

Followed the instructions and the motor would not move, it just hummed. After an hour of watching videos and double checking the install, I called Chamberlin customer service, Bruce, he was very professional. He thought it was bad sensors so sent a new set out, they didn’t. Spoke with Maria, also excellent, and after 50 minutes of extensive troubleshooting thought it may be the motor. They wanted to ship me a new motor so I could take the whole system down, remove and replace the motor, and reinstall the whole unit. I declined the offer to spend another several hour’s trying to fix the broken unit and asked for a refund, they refused. Tossed the Chamberlin, what a lousy product and company. ... show more
