This is a game changer when using Alexa and Alexa enabled products. Yes you can voice control everything, but how often do you have to repeat the words(Maybe it’s just me)? Using the App is great but can take some time. The other “remotes” I have tried or looked into are very expensive and limited. This remote gives you 4 Presets, that you can do almost anything with. Setting up YoLink hub and remote where cake. Maybe 2-3min, then programming done with Alexa. I look forward to exploring more YoLink products!

Very nice wireless remote fob made by Yolink. It controls Yolink products and also can trigger scenes with Alexa or Google. I have 4 of these fobs and have had no problem with them. I control lights, trigger other automation devices or scenes and control garage doors. They are durable and reliable. They are very functional. The buttons can be short pressed or long pressed to essentially give you 8 buttons. Unfortunately, Alexa does not support the long press. However, it does work within the Yolink app. They connect to the app quickly and have long battery life. Value is decent.

I have purchased many YoLink products, including water leak detectors, thermostats, and door sensors. I use this FlexFob to control the four smart thermostats (Ecobee and YoLink) in my house using Home Assistant automations. All of the YoLink products are very easy to set up and work as advertised.

I have other Yolink devices and the YoLink hub but I got this smart fob to trigger Alexa routines involving devices not related to YoLink. If you have a routine that you want to play by pressing a button, this works perfectly! My only issue with YoLink is that only one home can connect with Alexa so if you have more than one home you either have to put all the devices in one home or live with not being able to automate the other home with Alexa.

This Yo-Link smart fob is amazing, this can be programmed to control pretty much any smart home device that is compatible with Alexa. There is no lag between pressing the button and the respond from the device. Its long range fob to control devices from far distances across the house. I would certainly give this gadget a solid 5 star.

I purchased two of these after mistakenly purchasing the Yolink "alarm fob", which didn't do what I think an "alarm fob" should do - arm/disarm an alarm system. For some reason they wouldn't do that, which is a puzzle to me even to this day. At the recommendation of Yolink's tech support (who are actually super helpful) I bought these FlexFobs and they not only toggle the alarm system, they have two more buttons that I use to open/close the garage door as well. They can be programmed to do almost anything when used with the Yolink hub, and even more when integrated with Alexa. Each button has a short and a long-press configuration, so it adds even more uses if needed. (8 total actions, I believe.) I have many Yolink products in my house now, with a water shut-off valve, outlets, alarm/siren, leak and temperature sensors, contact sensors, etc, and these fobs set up just as easily as everything else. The Yolink app can be a little confusing, but once you figure out how it functions it's okay to work with. Integration with Alexa is painless. Like all Yolink products so far, the fob is well-made and durable and rather heavy - not some cheap piece of plastic. I should probably ding it one star though, because the silly little rubber thingy that attaches it to a keychain is not NEARLY enough - it broke fairly quickly going in and out of bags and whatnot. I have to put the unit into a side pouch of my bag now, but it does okay though. Overall it's a nice addition to the Yolink ecosystem of my house.
