the part that is listed is a 41AB050-2, however, the part that arrived was a 41AB050-2M. I installed it and it works perfectly. These are very easy to install. All you need is a ladder and a screwdriver. It took less than 20-minutes.

    • Worked like a champ!
The garage light activation portion of our opener died after 3 weeks of constant activity in our garage due to a home remodel. This circuit board/housing restored operation of the light, and opener. Reintializing the remotes was quick and easy. Just activate the learn function on the opener and operate the remote a couple times. Make sure you follow the procedure to set the closing safety limit sensor. It would be quite ugly to trap a pet or small child under the garage door. As to value......that is a matter of opinion. Repair parts always seem to cost too large of percentage of what a complete assembly costs. ... show more

    • Simpler than I expected.
I was told by a garage door repairman that parts weren't available for my unit any more. I checked Amazon and found 12 of this one from, which were brand new. The opener's manual said that problems are almost always the logic board, not the motor. Easy to install and it's been working like a charm since. ... show more

    • BAM! Garage door works perfectly again!
Came home on a Sunday night after two weeks of vacation and garage door did not open. Uh oh. No previous warning anything was amiss with the garage door opener whatsoever. I checked the outlet and it had power. Tried plugging the opener in again but it was completely dead, no lights etc. So I knew it had nothing to do with misaligned sensors or a dead remote. Searched the internet, watched a video, removed both ends of the opener (3 screws each). Inspected capacitor for bulging or dripping goo and it looked good (yes, I know they can still look "good" and not be working, if you're concerned, order a new capacitor too, less than 20 bucks). I got on Amazon and ordered this Logic Board. Paid for the expedited shipping and they had it to me in 4 days with a holiday in between! Awesome. Replaced the Logic Board in mere minutes, plugged the garage door opener back in, held my breath and voila! The lights went on immediately. Pushed the wired door button and the garage door worked perfectly. Reprogrammed all remotes and my car's Homelink and BAM! All is good again! Total time on YouTube and Amazon, repairing and programming was 1.5-2hrs but again, the actual swap-out of this Logic Board is mere minutes. I suspect a power surge or possibly just age caused the old part to fail. Since all three of my LiftMasters were installed 12 years ago, this is the first repair of any sort so I decided the $100 with shipping was worth a try and I'm super glad it all worked-out. If you suspect the same part went out on your door opener, give this a try, it's certainly less expensive than a repairman! ... show more

    • Excellent customer service from Gate Openers Unlimited.
Ordered item 41ab050-2 for my Chamberlain opener after reading reviews from folks that had the same issue as I was having. The opener would operate sporadically from the remotes and the wired controller. Order it from Amazon but the order was filled by Gate Openers Unlimited. At checkout it said delivery would be 7 - 10 days even with Prime. It arrived in just a couple days and to my surprise it was not just the logic board but the whole plastic housing with everything already mounted, installation was easy just 2 plugs. I plugged the opener in to the electrical outlet but could not program my remotes but the wired controller worked fine. I thought maybe i received a defective unit so I called the number on the yellow paper that it came with but got no answer so I emailed them and received a reply within an hour, apologizing for the defective part. They emailed a return label for the defective one and I received a replacement in just a couple days, hooked it up and it worked perfect! Great customer service! ... show more

    • Wrong board sent but worked anyway.
I was perturbed at first because I received the -2M model instead of the -2 and thought I’d have to send it back for the right one. After researching, I found out that the -2M is the same part with the M simply designating it as a different model year. So I installed it and it worked perfectly fine.

I was told by the garage repair tech that I could not get just the logic board. Good thing I investigated and found it. Easy to install and saves major cash not replacing the whole unit.
