It will be very full. I’ve used it twice. Makes meal prep something easy to do. Excellent 3 quart slow cooker

I bought this 3 quart model in order to make meals for 1 - 2 people. The stoneware pot is heavy, but easy to clean. The pot itself can get quite hot, so need to be careful handling it. The cooker works as expected, able to make stews and, for example, a Cornish hen (see photo). Just fill the bottom of the pot with vegetables, in this case, halved sweet potato and carrots, so that the hen is a bit raised from the bottom. Season the hen with herbs, such as thyme, garlic, rosemary, and then add a bit of liquid, such as broth, cooking wine, about 3/4 inch in bottom, set the hen on top, cover and cook on high. This one was cooked for about 4 1/2 hours, to the correct internal temp, no pink juices running out of meat. Just remember that meat will not brown as in oven, but still okay. This cooker is easy to use, just set and go, free from the kitchen. Good price.

Size is just right for me. So far, it's working great. Cooking cabbage, potato and sausage soup In it right now. Really very nice slow cooker! COMMENT ADDED LATER: It does get very hot on the outside, which I suspect means it is not well insulated. I put a dishtowel over the top and around the sides (except the front), and a couple hot pads on top of the lid.
