I can clip it to my jeans, toss my wallet in my pocket, and go about my day without worrying about a knotted chain. It’s a small detail that makes a huge difference, and I love it for that. I don’t understand folks who say this chain kinks easily. It’s quite the opposite. This chain is about twice as thick and heavy as the standard ones that come with chained wallets. Consequently the larger, thicker, heavier links don’t bind at all compared to previous chains I’ve used. It looks better in person than the website pictures and is quite impressive. At the ~$16 price point it’s less expensive than thinner and flimsier wallet chains, making it a great value. The thin top carabiner attachment looks nice, stays secure, and easily also secures a keychain. Don’t get this chain if you’re looking for it to not be noticeable. Not a bad product overall. That said, I was specifically looking for something a bit smaller. The company offers a wide range of variations, but a smaller size doesn't appear to be available. My other concern is the keyring used to attach the chain to a wallet or key. I'd prefer a more secure connection. The included ring opens quite easily, which somewhat defeats the purpose of adding a retention chain to a wallet in the first place. If you plan to use this regularly, you may want to replace the ring with a sturdier alternative from a hardware store that's a bit more secure. ... show more

It is really heavy duty. I hooked the two together to make a handle for a crossbow bag. It works perfectly with it. It matches the colors of the metal on the bag. It came packed in a plastic case and I had it all set up just the way I wanted it right away. It won't come unfastened accidently. It has a unique double flip type snap.
