  • Love This Little Saw!
I have several other chainsaws...Stihls and Husky's. First time buying an Echo but I've had good luck with their weed eaters and the saws had good reviews so I decided to take a chance on this little saw. I bought this for my wife actually lol. We are currently clearing 12 acres for our new house and she is no stranger to hard work. Her and I have pretty much done everything out there ourselves. She is the type of gal that just has things on her mind that she wants to accomplish so just let her go. She runs saws but doesn't like to use mine simply because they get heavy after awhile. She wanted a small, light saw that she could take with her to clear areas of brush she wants done while I'm off doing something else and this little guy fits the bill perfectly. It starts easy, it's lightweight & it's small. I've used it and was totally surprised at what this little thing can do. I can run it one-handed with no issues. So far we've cut down a bunch of scrub trees, trimmed others, & even taken down some bigger trees. I've cut through 8" downed logs with it and it had no issues what so ever. Of course it takes a little longer to get through the bigger stuff than my larger saws but that's to be expected but it does not bog down. You just set her down and let her go. If you want something compact and lightweight or something smaller for your gal this dude is the way to go. I would totally put the quality on par with my Stihls and Husky's. ... show more

  • A must tool for those who climb on a daily basis A must tool for those who climb on a daily basis
I. Love. This. Chain saw! It’s a work horse. It’s super light. I can cut with right or left hand 80 plus feet in the air with no issues. In 25 years, I’ve never cut with my left hand, until this chain saw. I use it for climbing only and keep it handy as a backup while using my other 50cc 20” bar Chain saw on the ground. Yes it’s pricey, yet never let me down and paid for itself many times on week one. It literally drinks fuel mix, yet at nearly 27cc’s, that’s to be expected as it’s designed to be both powerful and lightweight. I will not count that as a negative. My only negative is that I wasted time researching this saw when I should have just bought it already. You’ll. Love. It. Too! ... show more

  • Limbing saw
So far, it has worked like I thought it would and like I want it to! Light, easy to handle, starts up quickly. If your looking for a light weight, dependable saw, you can count on this one. I have only used it on 4 outings, but so far Echo has brought it! I have 2 Echo week eaters that are great and one I have had since 2004. A little pricey if you ask me, but it is way cheaper than a Sthil! ... show more

  • Great little saw.
I bought this saw back on Jul 8, 2022 and it was worked well for me. Some folks wondered what it weighs, so I weighed it. With it full of gas and oil, it weighs 8.6 lb. I'm handicapped, a right leg amputee, 72 years old, and it cranks well for me. Sometimes I forget to move the stop the button off stop and of course it won't crank. When I realize what i'm doing and slip the button off stop (slip it forward), it cranks right up. I do miss the rear handle that most chainsaws have, but am careful with it. ... show more

  • A lot of power
I’ve used plenty of chainsaws for work. And this echo is easily one of the best competitors on the market. Has a lot of power for its size. Light weight. And easy to use. I would definitely recommend for small jobs or for anyone starting out with a small landscape business.
