An excellent small kamado cooker/smoker. Well constructed, aesthetically pleasing and most importantly heats up well and holds temp well considering its size. Simple and quick assembly with included instructions. Initial burn in with lump charcoal was quick and allowed for cooking shortly thereafter. Made a dry aged bone in NY Strip and the results were perfect, including a great sear/crust as the cooking grate is not very high above the coals. This will be a problem for low/slow cooks but I believe there is a small heat deflecting grate available from another company that will fit the 13” opening. As a long time owner and frequent user of a large BGE, I can attest to the quality of the London Sunshine mini grill. If you’re in need of a small cooker for 1-2 people, this is nearly perfect at the price. Enjoy! ... show more

I own two Big Green Eggs (XL & Large) but wanted something I could fire up for a couple chicken breasts, steak etc... that was more efficient on the lump charcoal. Thought I would take a chance on this little unit since it's a fraction of the cost of the Mini Egg. So far I'm not the least bit dissapointed, it does the job just like a BGE. I use this for direct cooking since the unit is so small, wouldnt't recommened for indirect but for what I mentioned above it's well worth the purchase. Highly recommend. ... show more

I wanted a small grill that could get real high temps and didnt cost a fortune. Ive had it up to 800 degrees with barely any charcoal. Then ive been closing up all the vents to save the charcoal for next time. I would recomend to qnyone

I do have to admit the cooking surface is small. There is just two of use and it fits two bone in pork chops, or three frozen hamburgers. Would not recommend for a family of four or more.

I use this to sear 1-2 steaks for dinner. Don't get me wrong, it's small. Like really small. But sometimes that's okay. I'm not the type to leave grill grates greasy for weeks before my next cook, and i appreciate the small grill grates so I can wash them in my kitchen sink vs scrape them down.

It's missing 3 acorn nuts so I'm having to go to the hardware. The nuts were free in the box and not in a bag. Some nut were embedded in the styrofoam, others here and there in the box. The other parts and tools were in a bag, why weren't the nuts? Can't tighten all the nuts because of the felt lining. Besides the missing parts, the grill looks and feels good. I can't wait to use it!!! I'll update the review after it has been used. ... show more
