It’s made f mostly a high quality plastic so it’s not heavy. I was worried about it when I received it . I had it out up because my lift fan I had was broke and I needed something . Black RGB ceiling fan with LED lights that change color. This fan arrived today and I was so excited I put it up right away. Installation was pretty easy. There is a video on how to install it that was very helpful. Would have been nice if there was audio with the video. It has great airflow. The brightness settings go from VERY bright to low dim. My teen twins loved that it changes colors. Love that it comes with a remote. Love that the fan speed and light brightness is adjustable. Love that there is no light bulb ever needed. This room is a decent size and the fan quality is good. It looks so good!

UPDATE: After living with this fan for a few days, I gave my rating back a star... the 'low' (No 1) setting is still a bit faster than I like, but the angel of the blades is shallow, so the impact is low on the scale of 'wind'. I can now say that I would keep the fan as is. Good ceiling fan, as described and nice looking. Just one con... the 'Low' setting on the fan is not very low. I would have preferred (and expected) a slow speed that simply "stirred the air", to keep the room free from mold or mildew. Instead, the slow speed is what I would describe as "medium"... a small-ish but noticeable wind or breeze. I don't want a low setting to blow my papers around like I was outdoors. Other than that, the fan is fine. All functions work as described. The light is bright and changeable from cold blue to very warm yellow. I prefer sorta in the middle, on the warm side. After working all of the afternoon to install, I wouldn't think of returning this fan, but I would have, if I'd known beforehand.

The the fan is itself is really nice. I love it but the retro is no good in it. LED lights that mean that the fan don’t come on or the light don’t come on so now I got a package this back up and send it back I know my mistakes are capable, but once you pay somebody to come in your home to do this and then it don’t work so you gotta pay them now to take it back down that’s a lot

I would probably give this 3.5 stars. Installation guide is terrible, but I've installed a few ceiling fans previously so it wasn't too difficult with a little creative engineering. Picture is also somewhat misleading. The only RGB lighting is the thin band around the house, so it doesn't light up the ceiling much. App and remote work fine. Very quiet fan that produces a lot of air. My teenage son was very happy, and in the end that's all that really mattered.

So far we loved these fans for our kids rooms. They are fairly inexpensive but look amazing. Very little noise from the fan, light can be changed for how much light you want. Also has the color changing band. Just a realty nicer light, delivered fast, lightweight, good quality. Easy to put together and install.
