I needed a new fan in my office (10' X 12') and I wanted one with a remote and didn't want to pay the $60 + price. So I bought this one. We laughed at it when I opened the box because of the small size and cursed the instructions, asking myself why...what a POS. Finally got it installed and everything works like it should. In fact, better than I expected. It's only 42" in diameter but it puts out more air than those Big Damn Fans that cost over $200. The fan has 6 levels and I normally keep it at 1 or 2. I have to put goggles on when it's on 4 or higher...it's like a friggin mini tornado. The LED lights can be dimmed and changed from white to warm. It also has Bluetooth but I haven't connected it to my phone yet. Very impressed and would recommend it to anyone. ... show more

Update: June 9th. Customer service was very helpful. They walked me through resynchronizing the remote with the fan and solved my issue quickly. Definitely would recommend. June 4th: Bought this fan in April and installed it in my son's room. It worked perfectly at first now the motor just clicks and won't engage the fan to actually spin. The light works perfectly but now I need a whole new fan. ... show more

    • Great performance, bright light, quiet and powerful fan, but week RGB color ring.

Given the low price point, I honestly didn't expect much when I ordered this fan. I was pleasantly surprised! It's well designed, easy to install, and the main light is very bright. The fan works great. The colored LED ring, however, is dim and the controls are wonky and that prevented me from giving this a 5. Pros: - Base is metal and seems very sturdy. - Very quiet fan that pushes a good amount of air. - Main light is very bright and the different colors really make it light up the room nicely. The light is FAR better than I expected. - Installation was easy IF you follow the video. The included manual is weak. It honestly took me longer to remove the existing light than to install the new one. - The included remote control works great. - The app worked fine even though I haven't used it much at all because I use the remote instead. Cons: - The RGB colored LED ring was disappointing. It is very dim, unlike the main light, and cannot really affect the lighting color of the room. - The RGB controls are ineffective. Basically, the only thing you can do is to cycle through about 10 pre-set lighting schemes: Solid red, solid blue, solid green, rainbow, rotating rainbow, etc. - The RGB on/off also cycles the color so if you want, say solid blue, when you turn it back on, it will advance to solid green, forcing you to cycling through all the colors again. - The app control does nothing. It has an elaborate color selector wheel that has no affect on the light. ... show more

I ordered two of these fans for my daughters' rooms. One arrived completely defective, while the other was fine. It looked like the defective one had just been returned, so I returned it and ordered a third one. Unfortunately, the third one was defective as well! I am furious because I wanted matching fans, but now I'm afraid to order another one. I may have to uninstall the good one and buy two completely different fans instead. I'm already $200 in the hole for the electrician's fees to deal with all of this. It's shocking how this fan has any good reviews. ... show more
