Why did you pick this product vs others?: Reviews said this fan really has a lot of power, and they were correct. My son's room is like an oven and this is the first fan that has really cooled it! It is bigger than I thought, has great settings including a"natural breeze" that is very pleasant, and it was easy to install. We had one of the heavy duty models of this fan type and it was loud and very heavy. It was too much for our nursery so I wanted something a bit smaller and low profile. Wow. This fan moves 3x more air than the version from the big box store and it literally barely makes any noise. I love that you can adjust the light color to be nice and warm or cool and crisp. Got this very cool light and fan for my teens room! Mounted the remote beside his bed. We have had this for several month and we are loving it! So far we are loving it. I was a little concerned when I picked up the box and it was so lightweight but it is really sturdy once you get a look at it. The black is also unobtrusive, we were worried it might look heavy on our 8' ceilings but it does not. Really easy to install. Bought 3 of these for 3 different rooms and it does seem to create more air space compared to our old fan/ light combos. The air really only pushes hard right below which is fine for smaller bedrooms. Night light is not that dim. I figured how to change the dimness when I used the app but decided just to use the included remotes instead which has less adjustments. I thought I would use the night light feature but it's still to bright. I thought I could change the colors also but I could only figure out white light ... show more

Deff going to need some additional tools but the install is straight forward, make sure your electrical is completely shut off, the dim ability is fantastic as well as the different type of light gradients, the fan works great, make sure to anchor the bracket properly!
