I'm slowly making changes to my 1970s home. The original fan had the pull chain and was outdated. Saw this on Amazon and felt it was a really good deal given the price (under $150). Got someone to install it. It had several different length options and I choose to have it hanging lower since I have beams in my ceilings. The fan is huge put together compared to the other one. I purchased the 72 inch. The base is black but the blades are two toned. One side is brown and the other side is black. I chose to have us the black side of the blades. I really love this fan. It does move a lot of air like everyone says. It's quiet. The lights have 3 different modes - soft, white and bright. The remote is pretty simple to use. Has a timer setting. The remote comes with a mounting bracket but I haven't done that part yet. So I just taped it together in case I change my mind. I've only had it up a few weeks so we'll see how we'll it functions over time.

Pros: - Can't beat the price for this size of fan - LED light is bright. It adequately lights a large dark family room. - Remote control is responsive and easy to understand - it pushes a lot of air. It's pretty powerful on setting 6. It keeps a room cool that used to feel pretty stuffy with hot air trapping in the high vaulted ceiling. - Option of black or brown reversible blades for aesthetic options Cons: - it only comes with exactly enough wiring for the longest included down rod. Due to our sloped ceiling, we had to buy a longer down rod separately and splice in more wiring. - The light cover is cheap looking plastic vs glass. This is the reason I docked a star. - I'm not a fan of integrated lights and the subsequent decreased longevity of the fixture This is the biggest size fan in a 22x 28 room. Ceiling vaults 9ft to 18ft. It fills and cools the space well. This fan is comparable in performance and style to a Hunter Overton we have on our back porch. The Hunter has a superior light kit and housing. This fan has a better remote control and lower price.

Was a pain to put together, 3 holes for the blades were bad and had to rethread them. Not what you want in a new product. After that mess I was finally ready to turn it on and the fan motor wouldn't work. Checked all the wiring and everything was right. Took it down and rechecked everything and tried again and nothing. Overall a complete disappointment.

Love this fan!! It was super easy for my husband to install, and it works great! No matter where I am sitting in the living room I can feel the air and the remote makes it super easy to control when I get hot. And the reverse function makes it super comfy without haveing to turn on the heater. I bought tone for my room and soon all rooms in my house will have one.
