Opposed to it being plastic, I thought it was wood, it’s a very quiet and sleek looking fan. I can’t even hear the duel DC motor. My husband is a carpenter/contractor so he’s had 20+ years of experience and he said it was a pain to assemble. All and all, I’m happy with my purchase, great price for a modern fan. It cools the entire room too. Sitting underneath it you can’t tell it’s plastic. It also functions as well as a 5 or 6 bladed fan. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it was marketed as real wood. Maybe the plastic being light weight will function better. I’ll amend this after a few months if I come across any issues.

The media could not be loaded. I just installed it, so I can't attest to durability ot anything, but the wind POWER is amazing compared to my old one! My old one is about 30 years old (I'd guess). Only issue is it doesn't work from the switch, you HAVE to use the remote, which is annoying. It is BRIGHT. you do have to switch on off on off on off to select a light Other than the brightest one, each time. There's ZERO noise. Quiet as can be. Putting it together and installing it was easy. Using it is easy.

Really annoyed by this fan. First off,, the instructions are very poorly translated into English and make almost no sense. If you're not confident that you can install a ceiling fan with little to no instruction, good luck! The light has 3 color tones to it, but every time you turn it on, you get a different color and have to flip it on and off to find the one you want. You can't just set it to one color. Also the light does not dispurse well, it comes straight down and is very bright. Want to dim the light? Nope, you can't do that either. Want to flip a light switch to have your fan and the light come on? Still no. You have to use the remote every time if you want the fan to come on and no matter what you do there's a loud annoying beep with every button push. Also note if you have two switches, one to control the light on a fan and one to control the fan itself, this has a control unit that eliminates that as an option. You have to use one switch and then use the remote to select what lighting and fan combination you want. Also when you compare the wires on the control unit to the wiring diagram on it and to the diagram in the instuctions, none of them match up. I hate this fan and wish I'd never bought it.

I have purchased 4 of these fans. The first fan we received we installed and we’re very happy with. The light works from a wall switch and remote although the fan only works from the remote. Overall we loved the fan so much we ordered 2 additional fans. The second fan installed easily and works exactly as the first. The next fan was dead on arrival and had to be returned. Company was great and a replacement was shipped quickly. This fan also installed quickly and easily although the light would only come on from the remote and not the wall switch as the other two have. After reaching out to customer service I was told due to a customer complaint they changed the fans so that the light no longer works from switch. Unfortunately that is a no go with me and I will be sending it back.
