My husband hung this fan in not time, it wired up with the existing wires from our old ceiling fan. I love the look of this, very modern and no huge light fixture hanging down. On high, this thing will almost blow you out of bed, it's awesome! My husband loves the breeze setting, the fan acts like a natural breeze would if you were outside, randomly speeding up and slowing down. The fan and light are operable by remote control, but you can only turn the light on/off with the wall switch. If you lose your remote, you lose the fan. Also, when you turn off the system by the wall switch, it turns off the fan so that when you flip it back on with the switch, only the light comes on. That's not a deal breaker for us, but might be frustrating for some. It took a while for us to adjust to the LED lights. They light the room up, but you can't even look at them on the brightest setting. We like them now, but they are definitely different! Very well made fan, no wobble and it's aesthetically just what I wanted.
