Just completed installing this ceiling fan. Instructions were clear and I did not encounter any issues with the assembly or installation. A few really nice features of this ceiling fan: 1) Practically all of the screws were already loosely attached, which makes it easy to see and know which screws go where. This is so much better than having a bunch of screws in a plastic bag, in which you have to figure out which ones go where. 2) I love the fact that 95% of the assembly/installation is done not standing on a ladder! 3) The safety rope is great! Allowed me to mount the fan by myself. 4) The snap electrical connections are great! The fan is super quiet … even at the higher speeds! The remote is very functional and has all the needed features. The 3 different types of light is nice … and the brightness is sufficient and can be dimmed with the remote. So far, I have to give this ceiling fan 5 stars! Nice fan for the price. It looks nice, runs quietly , and puts out a good amount of air. There are 6 settings for air flow on the fan, which I think is more than necessary. I think three settings could be adequate. The only thing I am not happy about, is the fact that when the fan is turned on, it automatically goes to the fastest setting, which is very fast. It’s unlikely that I’ll ever want that setting. I think it makes more sense to start at the lowest setting and then you can increase the speed if necessary.
