There weren't many reviews for the Dolavast ceiling fans but I took a chance and bought a 52" size for my great room. - Nicely & safely packaged with no mess, included white gloves - Clear assembly instructions with helpful diagrams - Easy & quick to install in around 40 minutes with 2 people, but could be done with 1 person - Light weight, good quality, everything lined up & fit properly - Looks very nice! - Extremely quiet DC motor with good air flow - Remote works great (Batteries are not included) - All light settings work well (bright white, neutral, & warm yellowish) & dimmable LEDs - Great price on sale I bought two more 52" fans for my bedrooms. The Dolavast fans look smaller than other fans with the same size blades because they have a low profile and the casing around the motors is small. Thus the reason why I got 52" blade size fans for the bedrooms, rather than 44". ... show more

Extremely easy install. It took me about an hour, and I was taking my time. All the parts were very nice quality given the price. The instructions are very clear and even have a QR code that links to a video version of the installation. The mounting bracket come with a terminal strip for all the electrical connections (SO NICE), so no wire nuts needed. I can confirm the fan motor is VERY quiet. I can't notice any noice coming from it; the only the sound when it's on is the sound of air being being moved. The fan has 6 speeds and it moves quite a bit of air at the top speed for great cooling. The box came with a fan balancing kit, but I didn't need to use it. I didn't notice any vibrations or unbalanced fan blades even at the top speed. I'm extremely impressed overall! ... show more

Fan is great- quiet, was relatively easy for electrician to install, has lots of speeds, lighting is good. The remote works fine. However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to pair this fan to the app (Android). Mostly this is fine, but it's a bit annoying. I figured it would not work with Google Home or Alexa but was OK with being able to control it from my phone. But now I can't even do that. We have 2 that are now installed and there is of course no way to test this before they were installed. Very frustrating, but for the price, we'll deal. ... show more

Easy to install. Quiet as a mouse. Great airflow 42in works perfect for my bedroom. Nice bedroom lighting. Make sure you watch video before install and be careful not to use red/blue wire from house.. Black, Neutral and Ground only, cap the other wire and you’ll be good to go!

Looks sleek, low profile, but it has issues. It's not very quiet, as the motor itself makes a lot of noise. The fan settings frequently get stuck, when I push a button to change a setting, sometimes I have to hit the button 4 or 5 times, sometimes it still doesn't change at all. You cannot preset a fan / lighting configuration. Every time it powers on to that same full brightness of the harsh unnatural blue light. Fan speed variation not wide enough. It has 6 speeds, but they're not all that different. Speed 1 should be really slow, barely moving, with eyes closed you might not even know it's moving, just enough to move a little air. Speed 6 should be blowing papers around the room. Finally, it shows the fan being controlled by an app in 1 of the pictures but I don't see references to it anywhere. I got this model because it comes in different sizes so it would match the style in different rooms of the house. Oh well. ... show more
